We can never blame a player for accepting a big contract and trying to play for a big team, but you always blame a player for not living up to all expectations based on the contract. Big players get paid big bucks to perform big, if you don't then you are a laughing stock and will be critsized, simple as that.

So he shouldn't have take the risk? He shouldn't have believed that he would make it here?
You said it yourself, it's a risk. A risk means there is something to lose. In this case, not your money, only people's respect. Respect, which by the way, people were offering him in exaggeration of his actual ability. Because when a big club wants to buy a player who is not a star, their mere interest him already lends credibility to his competence. So when Juve come around asking for Amauri they're basically giving him respect in excess of his current worth, which they hope he will confirm with his performance. In this case the player didn't. And in Diego's case ("the next Platini") also not.

Still, he does have the cash and all the buying power it provides, no? Even if he took a risk and "lost".

Amauri's not a joke because of his salary. He's a joke because of his performances and his pathetic whining and groaning and complaining and overhead clapping and annoying melofanboys.
So tell me the difference between Iaqs and Amauris attitude?
Funny to see that you rate a player based on his attitude, and not on skils :lol2:

Pathetic post.

Iaquinta? Why the toot did you mention him? Am I a Yak-fan? And did you not see that I did mention his performances? And yes, attitude is important. It's the difference between being a Del Piero and a Miccoli.

Because we are talking about attitude here. I don't give a damn if you are a Yak-fan. Personally, I am Yak-fan as long as he plays for my team.
