I believe the guy who gave these awards is a Roma fan (he admited it actually).
That explains why De Rossi is his Player Of The Year .

Milan-Target Lloris To Join Lyon
Nice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will join Lyon within the next 24 hours, the French champions’ President Jean-Michel Aulas has claimed.

It has been strongly reported in the European press over the past week or so that Milan were closing in on a deal to sign French Under-21 shot-stopper Lloris.

Several days ago L’Equipe claimed that the Diavoli had agreed personal terms with the shot-stopper over a four-year contract, and all that was required in order to complete the transfer was to arrange a fee with Nice.

It had appeared that a transfer to Milan was a formality, however in a stunning turn of events, it now seems that Lloris is on the brink of signing for Lyon instead.

The French champions are on the lookout for a new number one after Gregory Coupet announced that he was leaving, and it seems that Lloris will be replacing him.

Lyon President Jean Michel Aulas told French Radio Station RTL that Lloris will sign for Lyon within 24 hours, thus naturally ending any hope Milan had of buying him.

Hehe, Milan get kicked in the balls over their Keepers again...

De Rossi is a pretty good call actually. Although I question his choise of Maicon, sure he was one of the best fullbacks this season, but best defender, best foreigner? No way. His teammate Cambiasso was much better for example.

Yea but Cambiasso is a pedophile on the run so they can't give him any award.

This is why Maicon is considered Serie A's greatest defender.

This Garganese guy has J.Zanetti as the 2nd best midfielder in the league, behind De Rossi and above Hamsik.
Then he makes the best foreigners list and he puts Hamsik on 2nd place while Zanetti isn't even in top 3.

Javier Zanetti is Argentinian, it doesn't matter if he has 1.64% Italian blood or not. He's a foreigner.
