I mean we wanted three things in that week ..

-One of our forwards win the cappocannoniere .. done
-Milan out of CL .. done ..
-Inter to lose the scudetto .. damn you Ibra ..

Oh well that's it for me and this thread i guess .. even though i don't know who was -repping me :p

Juventuz has been really slow for me today.

Well done Fiorentina, you have made a lot of people happy.

Please die Zlatan.

Milan choking Inter style today, brilliant stuff. Can't wait to see them play Armenian teams.

Btw, who wants to bet that in the post match interviews Galliani will mention the world club championship they won in December ?
Maybe even the CL they won last year.
Galliani's UEFA regrets
Sunday 18 May, 2008

Milan are out of the Champions League, but Adriano Galliani insists it is a good opportunity to focus on the Scudetto next season.

“It’s a great shame to be out of the Champions League and this year ends on a sour note,” said the general manager.

They managed to beat Udinese 4-1, but Fiorentina’s 1-0 victory away to Torino secured fourth place for the Viola.

“Up until 15 minutes from the end we were leading, but this is one of the reasons why football is such a special sport.

“It is nonetheless a year that saw us crowned Club World champions and became the club with more silverware than any other in history.”

Many blame the trip to Japan in December for that competition for the wavering form and fitness of the squad.

“Over the season we had two very different gears with many problems up until Christmas and top form towards the end of the campaign,” continued Galliani.

Milan must go into the UEFA Cup now and that could have a major effect on their transfer strategy, although Mathieu Flamini has already signed from Arsenal.

“We are disappointed to be in the UEFA Cup, but nothing will happen. The strength of the club is intact and it just means next term we’ll dedicate ourselves to the Scudetto.”

despite shinter "winning" again, its been an interesting season. i'm most surprised that milan's age has finally caught up to them and 1 year removed they will begin the season in UEFA as opposed to the CL.

i hope we next season we skeet all over inter just like we did for so many years before

Meanwhile the 'peaceful invasion’ of around 4,000 Inter fans turned nasty when there were clashes with police outside the Stadio Tardini.

One police officer is in hospital with multiple lesions to the spleen, while the supporters destroyed a bar and a school adjacent to the stadium.

Inter fans were barred from entering the arena in the interests of fairness after Roma’s followers were not allowed to go to Catania due to fears over public safety.

However, at least 1,000 Nerazzurri got into the Tardini either by getting their tickets at the stadium or climbing over the fences.
