You, as captain, didn't motivate him enough.

As the best player on our team, I demand you stay and play whatever position you want.
So you expected me to carry the team on my shoulder's, run all over the pitch, and motivate alen?

If you were the best player on the team, it would not revolve around me, so your theory goes out of the window. Alen can stay but he has to pay more attention to the game, and not on the opposing team's coach

Napoli steal Inter target Thursday 24 January, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Napoli have enraged Inter by stealing Brescia midfield star Daniele Mannini from under the Nerazzurri’s noses.

The 24-year-old has become an outstanding player in Serie B and made over 100 appearances for the Rondinelle since arriving from Pisa in 2004.

With Mannini’s departure inevitable this summer, Brescia were believed to have given Inter first refusal, but Napoli have pulled off a surprise swoop.

“In my opinion the deal is done, even if it’s up to Napoli to announce it,” Brescia President Gino Corioni told Radio Marte.

“In any case, Mannini is officially a Napoli player. Will he leave now or in June? They will be letting us know soon.”

Napoli will pay a total of £5m for the son of former Pisa goalkeeping legend Alessandro Mannini, but the fee will probably be paid in instalments.

Inter are yet to react to the news, which will surely come as a blow as it was assumed that the Beneamata would gain Mannini’s rights and loan him to another Serie A club
:rofl2: Ahh! This reminds me of that old thread, where we would all have a laugh at :inter: !:D

So you don't like Manicini's hair style and you could have stayed concentrated without admiring his hair all match long ?
Yeah, right.

In other news...This is from a Milan forum. They are talking about Inter getting help from the referees and look what one Milan fan said :
Well, I had a bit of a feeling that the fix was in at the beggining of last season when in one of the first matches (it might have been the first match) our friendly cousins got something like five minutes of added extra time so they could tie it up.

Milan fans complaining about teams getting 5 minutes of extra time :lol2:

I expect you to shout orders at him and make sure he is concentrating on the game, not his fantasies.

I am the best player on the team because I let you do your job and I am a great team player. My job is not captain, who is supposed to lift the team up and help them win.

You better be careful, because I might go to Tuttosport about this, then you will learn :D

Like you don't visit their forums after they lose a match !
And it's not forums but it's a forum. I only enjoy reading what Milan fans have to say after they lose a match.

I deka se rodi tolku pameten za sekoe lonče kapače da imaš ? (lived in Štip from 1986-1989 so my Macedonian isn't very good anymore. But i'm pretty sure this is correct because i was getting it a lot from my neighbours :eyebrows: )

Now it's official.
Palermo signed Balzaretti for 3.8m euro

Now let me ask you something : Didn't we sell Balzaretti for less ?
I mean, he played full season with us and played pretty well and we got less than what Fiorentina got for a player that didn't play more than 2 matches this year.
So you are doubting the skills of our transfer guru?:pumpkin:

Bullet Found At Milan HQ Milan are on high alert after a firearm bullet was sent to their headquarters in Via Turati in the centre of the city.
Bullet Found At Milan HQ

According to reports in Italy an envelope was sent to the club’s offices and it contained a bullet. The envelope also contained a note with a message for president Silvio Berlusconi, director Adriano Galliani and coach Carlo Ancelotti.

The message was written in upper case and reads:

“For the negative results of the team and for the wrong choices.”

It is expected that the message referred to the Rossoneri’s abysmal season so far and to various players under-performing.

Ancelotti’s men have not had the best of seasons by any means and it seems as if the fans have run out of patience with the coach.

Everyone had thought the Rossoneri had rediscovered themselves after a good start to the second half of the season, but they showed their weaknesses once again by losing to Atalanta 2-1 on Wednesday night.

This is not the first time Milan’s fans have turned against their club. In 1996 fans in the San Siro pelted the players off the pitch with rotten fruits mid-way through the season after a poor campaign.

The club have so far remained silent over the incident and have yet to issue a statement.

It’s not uncommon for fans to show their discontent by reacting in petulant ways in Serie A. Several years ago Lazio fans stormed the club’s head office in Rome when they sold Alessandro Nesta to Milan. A couple of years ago Inter fans outrageously threw a moped from one of the turnstiles in San Siro.
Shocking news , Milan under threaten

Unsatisfied Fans . should we send something soft like Egg or Banana to our board for being idiot during this season ? :D

I own Tuttosport so it doesn't matter what you tell them, they will still say how great i am :D

Please, somebody shoot Berlusconi already.
Berlusca is probably going to be prime minister of Italy again, as Prodi had a vote of no confidence and had to resign. Expect Milan to start getting certain calls in their favour after this happens

An Ex-Juve player:

Palermo New-Boy Balzaretti Hits Out At Prandelli

New Palermo signing Federico Balzaretti has fired a parting shot at Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli, who he feels didn't give him a fair shake.

The 26-year-old defender agreed to join the Sicilian side after having spent just a little over six months at the Stadio Artemio Franchi. He was considered as an important addition to the Viola when he made the switch over from Juventus in the summer, but for whatever reason was unable convince his new coach of his merits.

“You would have to ask Prandelli why he didn’t play me,” was his biting response, when asked why he failed to make the breakthrough at Fiorentina.

“I just know that I didn’t get a chance and it was best for me to leave. I always liked the city and my teammates and I’m sorry to go, but I want to play.

“Palermo are the side that showed the greatest determination to bring me in and I hope that I will get more games than I did at Fiorentina.”

Balzaretti, who can play at either right or left full back and has also been known to fill in on either flank in midfield, will make the move south for €3.8m, virtually the same fee that Fiorentina paid for him from Juve six months ago.

Bianchi To Join Milan In June?

There are rumours emanating from Italy that AC Milan are behind Rolando Bianchi’s loan-move to Lazio, and that the striker will join the Rossoneri in the summer.

Bianchi completed his transfer to Lazio from Manchester City on Wednesday in a deal that will originally see him join on loan until the end of the season. The 24-year-old will then join permanently on a five-year contract, with Lazio paying €12.5m.

However it has been reported that Milan actually engineered the whole move, allowing Bianchi to spend the rest of the season on-loan at Lazio, before paying Manchester City €12.5m in order for the player to join them in time for the 2008/09 campaign.

Milan have a number of problems in attack that will certainly need addressing in the summer.

With Ronaldo’s contract renewal still up in the air, Filippo Inzaghi set to turn 35, and Alberto Gilardino likely to be sold following his continued poor performances, Milan will surely have to make one or two forward purchases.

If Bianchi were to be signed, it would leave the door open for another Ka-Pa-Ro trident of Kaka, Pato And Rolando.

The Italian press has been suspicious in the last few days over how Lazio have been able to afford Bianchi’s wages, as his salary supposedly breaks the cap Lotito has enforced at the club.

However the businessman rejected these claims.

"We have not changed the salary cap,” said Lotito. “Bianchi is a boy who has serious values, he was happy to come here and he is motivated.”

Didn't Inter go on press silence after the Parma game? How did Mancini declare something yesterday? Is there press silence only for four days?
