I remember Spinesi as a promisng teeanger playing for Bari long time ago. Its good to see him finally getting a chance at a big stage and fulfilling his potential. By no means most technical of players, but I always thought he a knack for knowing where the goal is.

Oh, you are completely right that current Serie A's standard isnt too good. Lazio is just a hard-working mediocre team with as creative as we were under Crap. Shockingly they are 4th in the table.

Personally, I think our team will be taken over sometime in the future, especially if the Italian Euro bid comes through. Just my 50cent on this.

No one will invest in Serie A teams this season. Next season the package will be complete with the return of the big guns and the old guards. It will make it attractive for other teams like Milan, Viola and Lazio to invest more. I expect the league to be much more competitive next year but alas I see Inter winning it again, they are already miles ahead of everyone because of the gifts Juve gave them.

No you are completely right and I argued the same on the threads too.

Current predicament in the standings is mainly due to the fact that teams couldnt aside from Inter (you know why) and Palermo, to seriously strenghten their team through Calcio Mercato. You see Milan's depth, and compare that with their CL winning team, then you just have to say :disagree: or :rofl2: depending on your fan status. Boriello? Mamma Mia!

Inter will start favorites next year as well. As you have mentioned in other post, there have a depth to compete in 5 competition and still winning all five. Even worse, they are bound to some more world class players into their team. I think Inter will be middle of Henry sweep-stake by end of this season. They have got pieces to entice Arsenal, Patrick Viera, money, etc. But Roma is one team I expect to be much better than this year. Their bench could be so much stronger. Having a string of teenagers to replace Totti isnt going to cut it in the end.

@Jeeks I agree, I think some black years are ahead of us, not black and white:p

It will take some time before we stand up on our foot again and be a real threat to Inter for the Scudetto.

I think Milan will not allow another bad season like this.

Roma needs to buy 2-3 quality players and keep this squad, that should be enough for Scudetto race.

As for Inter, they have taken away our pride, our players, our Scudetto and now, they have taken our winning mentality.

It´s weird for me to see Inter winning like this after all these years...

It is no joke that Inter has stolen our thunder and when I say they will take their second star before we get our third, I am not just selling crap.

Milan will not invest in their team at all this season, they will wait until the league gets back to a better form, when Juve, Napoli and Genoa are back.

hmm how close is Totti to Del Piero in number of Serie A goals? I wonder...

EDIT: Damn, I just found out that they're tied.
Both of them scored 134 goals in Serie A (but DP has 5 more goals in B :p)

No one is pessimistic, we are being realistic. I will run naked in Torino (I am kidding now :D ) if we win Serie A the season we return, I would love it of course but to make a squad equal to that of Inter in one summer transfer campaign, I don't see that happening.

´

No, never.

And I doubt it that he will do it this year, Ibra is gonna be top goalscorer.:D :p :smoke:

You guys will see that me and Jeeks are right about this, I have read many Jeeks opinions in the old thread and he was being mocked, until in the end he proved to be right.

I can´t wait until Badass Devil sees this thread, I wonder what will his reaction be? :shifty:

I agree, but that doesnt mean they will win the season after and the next one...:disagree:
in 2 or 3 years we could make a scudetto team if our transfer policy was wise!!!
so i still dont see them (i hate 2 write their name :D ) gaining their 2nd star before our 3rd ...:disagree: although it might be a close call :smoke:

I´m starting to realise now how strong was actually our team last season by looking at the scorers table and how we failed to do better in Champions League because of Crapello...

i agree with you guys:agree:

but im sure we can win serie B this year, i think it should be easy..

but when we go to Serie A next year, since Trez Buffon and Camo may not be with us, we will pretty much be going in with a Serie B team unless we make some big transfers.

Inter and Roma wont sit back and give us the title:p lets not forget Milan, we will be seeing a compelety different Milan next year!

but lets hope for the best, if anyone can do it its Juve right:p

Inter is looking to snap up Suazo.

Obviously Moratti still hasnt given up his penchant for collecting strikers like they are stamps.

If Suazo have any brain whatsoever then he should realize that the move across the city to Milan makes a lot more sense. He is far superior player than Inzaghi, Oliveira, and on a better run of form than Gila. He should walk into that side instead of competiting with Adriano, Cruz, Recoba for a place on the bench.
