Does anybody know what happened between Veron and Totti?
Both men were sent off in the 92nd minute

wow Totti got a 8.5 rating
It was all about Totti. He did a great game and a worldclass goal all on his own. From the midplan past two Inter players then just chipped over the goali from 20 meters...

The fight was just Veron. Do not understand why totti got the red.

Two Match Ban For Veron And Mancio, One For Totti
10/27/2005 5:07:00 PM
The Italian football league’s disciplinary commission handed out their punishments following yesterday’s midweek action, in particular the ones regarding the hot and entertaining Inter-Roma clash.
Inter midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron will have to sit-out the next two matches for the hand he put on Francesco Totti’s face late in the game.

The Roma skipper, whose attitude during the episode didn’t seem to deserve a red card, instead received a one match ban.

Unlike Spain, it is almost impossible that a yellow or red card is revoked, even if television images show the referee’s decision was unjust.

A two match ban was also handed to Inter coach Roberto Mancini for saying ‘insulting phrases to referee Rosetti after the final whistle.”

Totti's ban is cut short to 1, and Roberto Mancini is handed a 2-game ban instead :D

Sampdoria - Inter

Stadio Luigi Ferraris

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sampdoria and Inter are both on the fringe of the early title contenders. With Milan and Juventus facing each other this week, both teams have a real chance of catching up with the top two clubs. The Nerazzurri are under the most pressure as they try to rejoin the Scudetto race, while their opponents will be more than happy with bettering last year’s fifth place finish. Samp have had some mixed results this season but are currently only four points away from Inter and that coveted fourth Champions League spot. A win here would do them and the likes of Palermo and Lazio a massive favour and blow the race for European qualification wide open.

Inter haven’t done themselves any favours though as they seemed to press the self-destruct button in midweek. They let struggling Roma take a three-goal lead and then saw Juan Veron sent off and Coach Roberto Mancini lost his nerve after the game by verbally abusing the referee. Both will now face a two-match ban, which could see the problems grow for the under-fire Mancio.

Add to this the controversial axing of Adriano, followed by his brace when coming on as a substitute, and chaos seems to once again be taking control at the San Siro. Marco Materazzi is also suspended for this game and Javier Zanetti, Kily Gonzalez and Dejan Stankovic are all still injured. The Blucerchiati are still without last week’s absentees with both Fabio Bazzani and Giulio Falcone missing again.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sampdoria (probable): Antonioli; C Zenoni, Castellini, Pavan, Pisano; Gasbarroni, Dalla Bona, Volpi, Tonetto; Bonazzoli, Flachi

Inter (probable): Julio Cesar; Cordoba, Mihajlovic, Samuel, Favalli; Ze Maria, Cambiasso, Pizarro, Figo; Recoba, Cruz

I hope inter loose

Inter is getting owned out there. Sampdoria should be three goals up.
Ya I know...Al-Jazeerah was scrambled for the first 15 minutes of the match, for some stupid reason or another...Did you just their last chance? Inter is getting raped!!
