Moreover it has nothing to do with reb's grandfather or some israeli kid and their entitlement to residency, the conflict is not about land it's about concepts some people here can never grasp; about the honorable the sacred and above all the Just. I very much doubt that they are so worried about the coming revenge. I do know that several important Israeli journalists have always opposed this war though.

Hey, as long as you people keep focussing on this, you're making Israel stronger. Europe, the US and Israel all know that Israel isn't going anywhere. If your sole claim is that all Israelis should leave, you're going to lose this conflict. And lose badly.

A far better objective would be to demonstrate that the behaviour of Israel, in the state itself and in Gaza is unacceptable and that measures should be taken to drastically improve the quality of life of all Palestinians. That's an objective you can reach, you see.

Since 1990 Madrid peace conference, Palestinians and Arabs in general chose the second option, but the result was that Israel was making use of time to impose its expansion on land by building settlements and the separation wall. So, the conclusion by Palestinians was that we offered a very generous offer by sacrificing our land which was occupied in 1948 without taking anything as compensation. The normal reaction is that Palestinian won't give the Israeli peace wherever they live unless Palestinians live in peace themselves.

Burke's votes make no sense to me. He thinks there should be a jewish country located somewhere in the world, but not where it is now.
