yes because that's something the whole entire world except the us and israel have agreed and decreed.
Ok, lets make the year 1948 then, instead of 1967. What about this case?

Moreover it has nothing to do with reb's grandfather or some israeli kid and their entitlement to residency, the conflict is not about land it's about concepts some people here can never grasp; about the honorable the sacred and above all the Just. And regardless how long it will take those 3 will be recovered.
Looking at these three concepts, you also have to give back your land in Chicago to the Potawatomi.

1948 is the ideal, 1967 is the compromise at least 90% of people will adhere to that.

As for your second question, it has absolutely no place in this context and shares very little with the mid east conflict.

But FYI the current state is irrevocable many native americans sought reparations through the legal system and received them

you're forgetting the refugees spread all over the Middle East
I didn't forget them actually. I just didn't count Gaza and the west bank and i didn't include those who weren't born in Palestine or 1948-1967 Israel and lived all their life outside these teritories.

1967 does seem like the only fair solution. Even though it's completely unfair to those who spent most of their lifes there.....the Israeli from the west bank and golan heights go back to Israel, the Arabs from Israel go to Palestine (i read that the Arab citizens of Israel would choose to remain Israeli citizens rather than become citizens of a future Palestinian state) and only the problem with Jerusalem is left to be sold.
Israel will never accept this but the world can make this happen one day. :D

lol I think you mean the problem of Jerusalem left to be solved :D:D

can't really feel sorry for the Israelis who would be troubled by this, they have not experienced the unspeakable horrors the Palestinian people have endured

Are you serious?

Andries.... seriously If you don't know the definition of a terrorist or the concept of this word don't bother. I can't blame you though.

But I would like to ask you one question and please answer me without going zig zag... Someone knocks your door, beats the shit out of you and your family (I wont even add the killing your family thing) and asks you to leave your OWN house and at the same-time threatens you with his pistol.

Would you surround?

What would you call these people? Taking your property and kicking you out?

Wouldn't you fight back to take what belongs to you?

Wouldn't you grab a knife to say the least to fight for your life and for your kids life?

Imperialism and such just ain't the done thing anymore my friend. The circumstances may be similar, but the context has certainly changed. So yeah... wouldn't call that a fair comparison.

Well my trip is in April but if I cancel now I get full refund. The longer I wait the more I lose.
Sorry for late reply - ehhh...let me put it this way, right after Nasrallah's last speech (1st week of Jan.) where he said he's ready for open warfare; my parents took the first flight from Beirut to Dubai.

Apparently the entire country went panicky during that week; supermarkets got crowded with people buying food, medicine, etc. People began to buy petrol and "mazout" (Diesel) for generators...

We've been through this before, so we know the drill. Kinda funny and sad at the same time.

To answer your question, I'd cancel for now, and wait to see what happens next.

My parents, sister, grandparents are all in Lebanon except for me. Things are still calm and quite there.

When I was there things were also calm.

I'll tell you a secret, my cousin is Nasrallah's chief security. I'm sure you've seen him. Whoever follows "Manar" channel can always see him.
You mean that tall guy?!? Really???
