Just a thought, from the article I posted earlier.
Two "Conspiracies" and why we're afraid of each other:
Israel fears their security, because they believe certain Arabs (and a Persian nut-case) wish to destroy them: With Hamas crowds and Hezballah crowds who chant "Death to Israel", accummulate arms etc.
Palestine / Lebanon / Syria believe Israel is still a Zionist movement that seeks to fulfill the prophecies of Theodore Herzl, and the dreams of David Ben-Gurion: To occupy an from the north the entire stretch from the Litani river (LEBANON) to the east (JORDAN) of the Transjordan, and to the western Sinai (EGYPT).
Sinai was lost in 1977 Camp David. South Leb was lost in 2000 thanks to Hezballah + Political pressure (even Israeli's admit invading Lebanon was a 'mistake' - though I find this very tongue-in-cheek and hard to believe).
There are alot of greater interests at stake, regionally speaking; so Israel has to maintain this power this at-all-costs attitude toward its neighbors.
Just rambling on with some thoughts........I don't know where we're going with this. I don't know if Obama's reign will change anything either.
Good night........
This is not "conspiracy theory", it is reality. The leaders of Israel are hardcore Zionists who have no regard for their neighbors whatsoever, so they will always have the burning, fetish like sensations of fulfilling their hero Herzl's dreams. And the way one can tell that Israel will not stop until their neighbors are wiped out is by simply looking at a map of Palestinian land lost since 1948 - it decreases every single half decade.
Governments have been known to stage attacks on themselves to justify certain actions, and that probably is the case right now with these rogue "Lebanese rockets" that nobody has taken responsibility for. Another incentive to attack Lebanon again and take control of more land there is for petroleum purposes, where it would be easier to tap into the Baku-Tblisi-Ceyhan pipeline that is so coveted by the West. It was rumored that the 2006 bombing of Lebanon was due to the opening of the BTC pipeline, where individuals in the Israeli government were hoping for a "Greater Lebanon" that could secure more oil for their beloved nation. There are too many factors in place for them to cut back on their military expeditions, something aggressively supported by the military industrial complex.
If they haven't stopped yet, why would they stop now? There is more to come and nothing will end until one entity is destroyed.
On a related note, don't hope for much from Obama. Even myself, someone who voted for him, can see his picks for positions have been nothing short of ludicrous, surrounding himself with degenerate traitors and crisis instigators, so nothing will change, which is a major shame.
