My point being that using body count as determining the "worst holocaust" (as if that implies there are "good holocausts" and "less good ones") is absurd.

Well that's your beef with the historical method. By using "worst" when describing a genocide you don't imply anything about the methods nor do you use it to weigh sincerity and how severe it is, "worst" is simply the one with the highest body count i.e. the one with furthest fetching repercussions.

My attack problem with the Israeli use of "worst genocide" (they certainly mean it in terms of numbers, blatantly obvious from the movie and other sources) is that it's a false statement and it's being used today as a means to legitimization of the Israeli actions. It's bullshit, and debunking that myth would signal a start to dismantling this creation which is Israel and it's history. But I guess I'm a level headed idiot, it's much easier to sit on the fence and just lift your hands whenever facts are being discussed while history runs it path using a broken GPS. I'm sorry if you have a beef with the terminology, but those are the valid terms today.

That's absolutely the case. An entire race of 3 million people could be completely eradicated from the earth. Eradicated. But by this bogus measure, it's only "half" as bad as the Jewish genocide of the 20th century. That's idiocy.

They are not valid in my mind. Calling them valid to begin with just reinforces the deception.

If the argument is made by the application of industrialization technologies to the manufacture of mass murder, then I think the Israelis could have a case. But using sheer body count is asinine and a false measure.

That's a valid beef, but when I write here I don't really take the time to cover all corners or aspects of the problem at hand - i presume that it's in place when I make my point otherwise I would have to sit 20 hours a day when posting on Tuz :D . The historical method doesn't just stop at "worst", I trust you know that.
