Israel has had nuclear weapons for at least 15 years, and has yet to ever use them...
If Iran gets a nuclear bomb, the first thing they will do is attack Israel...they have already said it
As much as I despise the leadership in Iran and Syria, I am trying to look at things from an objective point of view :
The Lebanese government needs to get a grip on Hezbollah, and/or someone has to get Iran and Syria to call them off. Iran and Syria are having Hezbollah do their dirty-work, without getting them directly involved...and they are loving it !!
Israel has rights to land in the Middle East, just as Palestine does. The Old Testament promised the Jews their own land...and the land which the Jews occupy now is where much of their history took place.
I just cannot understand why the land cant be shared....
when we were all children, one of the first lessons we learned about life is SHARING...
dont tell me kids know better than the adults

First of all about Iran and Syria's intentions, as you can take a look at the history of that region, any aggresive notions are bold gestures of standpoint...I doubt they would just literaly nuke any state if they had the power to do so.
But they send a clear message that they are against Israeli occupation and that the killings (which if you try to gather your facts you will see Israel actually is more of the culprit) must end.
They have said the same in the past towards US because there have been numerous occasions of double standards by the US, past and present. And thus they feel that the US is no way in position to judge or resolve objectively the situation that is unfolding in Israel/palestina and so they make their position clear towards the US that they are not afraid.
Iran, I know is a strong islamic state, Islam prohibits very strictly attacks against civilians, and even attacks without decleration. Thus all war must be declared before it's begun, which contradicts all terrorist activities.

About sharing, well, there are limits to sharing, you can't simply compare them to the things we were taught in school. Even you, must admit there are limits.
Here, the main thing is that until the early and mid 1900s there was no Israeli state, there weren't even many Jews, or certainly they weren't the Majority.
Now if all of a sudden in that area (whom ever was living on it) has to be cleared to make way for foreigners with foreign culture, then how would that make the current residence feel? How would it make you feel if you were thrown out of your own home? I doubt you can just say share...because you would look for fairness and justice.
I think you should read many factual posts that Phrozen has put in this thread and more so in the 'Pathetic Democracy' thread. That'll paint a clearer picture of the situation for you. And then you can make your judgement. I think you will relize where you truly stand.
I really respect you, are trying to be as objective as possible, but objectivity relies on the facts we have at hand...so to be more objective you must explore the facts further on both sides. Once you get the big picture, then you decided which are the facts and which are the propaganda.
