I don't get it. In the US Muslims are free to practice and not targeted to be killed. There, in most of the region, flip it the other way around Christians/Jews are essentially just waiting to be killed (or at least have a target on their head).

Meanwhile ISIS targets fellow Muslims who aren't as extreme as them and no one has the balls to do anything about it.

US are pushing hard to make Turks join their so called coalition against ISIS. It's too bad for them that time is changing and old Turkiye which was a forward hq against USSR is no more. One of the main reasons of Turks not joining the alliance was 49 Turkish hostages in hands of Isis. Since they are freed, US will try it again. Now there are talks about it was cia made isis freed the hostages to convince Turks to jump in.

Look at the big picture instead of what they want you to see. It's a region wide Sunni rebellion, isis is just one the many groups and their leaders' acts are highly suspicious. All of those beheadings and other violent stuff look like they want world to hate Muslims as you can see here;

That's not true and that's why the region won't be recovering in the foreseeable future.

Truth is this region was a mess. Backwards, divided, and rich in resources. You can't expect someone not to take advantage of it. After 100 years of humiliation and nothing has changed. But yeah, keep blaming the US and other foreign powers, that's working out great for you
