That is the most accurate sentence here in the last two pages. More than 1 million Iraqis are killed because of American greed for petrol. Nobody said a word. An American is killed. The whole world condemns that. Fuck off, silly world...
I get what you're trying to say, but the second invasion of Iraq had little to do with petrol. Especially now that Iraqi output is pitiful and the U.S. is getting off on domestic fracking right now. So you might need to tune your facts a little.
If the US would have grabbed an iraqi citizen or journalist and beheaded him on national tv, even bigger outrage would break out in the entire world.
That's actually a pretty decent point. One dead American is pretty much just a drop in the bloodbath of civilian casualties in Iraq. But what makes it just a little different is more making a public spectacle of the deliberate execution of an unarmed civilian.
Sad as it sounds, I guess at least when the U.S. military kills civilians, they don't issue press releases with videos.
That's why some folks are freaked out, but seriously -- like who didn't know this was coming anyway?
Second, you are saying that the beheaded man is an innocent journalist. Well, ISIS says he is an American soldier and they showed his military clothes. You can believe whatever you want, but do not assume something that can be baseless.
It would be kind of suicidal for a journalist to go into a foreign country like a falling-apart Syria but also to dress up in army gear to choose a side. It makes absolutely no sense. It blows your credibility and access as a journalist.
Stop defending ISIS. get a fucking grip
True dat.
I'm not defending anybody. I'm just telling all those who cry for a man that he is not the only one who was killed in Iraq. If you want to shed a tear over his body, be my guest, but do not make it as if he is the only one who was killed there...
What sort of media are you getting to believe that this lone journalist was the only person killed there? :wth:
I mean, all nations do their best to cover up ugly stuff. But do you honestly believe Western media is spinning Iraq as if this reporter is the only person killed there?
