I'm with you on that. They're making it hard to get access to a decent smartphone that doesn't look like you've jammed a flatbed scanner in your pocket.

Instead of wasting time trying to understand you should invest your time in trying to capitalize and exploit (perhaps even sexploit) the paying consumers who demand it

Yeah, but it's a cellphone in the end. If it uses most apps, texts, and calls, I'll be happy as long as it doesn't lag.
