that's what you're doing, bringing up past world cups. like i said, they don't mean shit. germany is still the best team out there.
Being the best team hardly means you'll win. And that is what means shit. Netherlands should know that by now. So should Germany, said Italy.

Past titles don't mean shit? Haha you're embarassing yourself. And this coming from a Juventus fan makes it even worse.

:disagree: yeah, the last world cup definitely showed us how much past titles mean.

What are thoughts on Belgium? They have a nice set of individuals on their team with big name EPL players (Mignolet, Hazard, Kompany, Lukaku)
I think it's a team with many great talents and good player. They may surprise us in the wc. But I think they dont have enough experience to win this WC, it's to early for them, maybe with this generation in 2018.

As long as England, the US, and Austalia are dumped out early, the World Cup will be a joyous spectacle

Going by what I see now, I'd have to say Argentina, Brazil, Italy, and Germany (who aren't the best team, particularly with that leaky defense) should make the semis. I have a feeling Spain won't get past the QFs, and Belgium, Ghana, France, Colombia, and Egypt :D are the dark-horses

I love all those countries and their people, just not their governments (in the case of America and England) and sporting teams (mostly) :p

I support you guys in rugby and swimming, the US in basketball, and England in absolutely nothing :D

When it comes to football/soccer, it is Italy and Egypt for me :)

Kareem Benzema is currently going through a 14-month goal drought for the French NT and has now not found the net for his country since prior to Euro 2012, a barren run of 1217 minutes.
