brazil have gone back with scolari since he took over. at least menezes was trying to blood young talent and try new things.
To be fair, that was an All-Série A squad, not the actual Brazil squad. And the only reason we had so many youngsters was well...It was the Olympics.

But i agree that Scolari was a huge step back, his style is obsolete and not appropriate for modern football. Menezes on the other hand was like having nobody, he was anything but a manager. Either way, if Brazil ever stands a chance of winning the Confederations or the World Cup, it'll be by individual talent, the collective is beyond shit and we don't have enough time/a real manager to make it work. :numnum:

agreed, it was scolari that lead to palmeiras getting relegated last season and then he gets the Brazil job  nothing political about his appointment...

Gonna be hard to not play Jozy when he blitzes goals week in, week out.

Non-nation looked good until that corner. :MJ:
Meh, he's fast and tall which I guess translates to a lot of goals in the Dutch league. But he's so bad at almost everything. Really hoping some wonder-kid striker pops up sometime soon.

Unfortunately, none of our strikers play in a better league and score at a better rate. Gomez doesn't score much. The next guy in line either plays in the MLS or Austria.

Boyd is a big boy. Looking at Lukaku and Benteke, I kind of wish we had colonized Africa too.

Defense fell apart in the second half. No-nation's front line is just too good.

Highlight so far for me is seeing Stuart Holden back in a US kit for the first time in 2 years.
