We've been whailing and baleing and it's been a tough night, but those Wales were num num. Sorry Belgium, looks like you'll have to beat us on our turf if you want to win this group.
As things stand right now, a draw in Croatia would be enough for Belgium to win the group.

Still, Croatia or Belgium (or both) may very well drop points before that game, so we'll have to wait & see.

I don't know if there will be much points dropped before that match.
It seems Croatia and we are really unbeatable in the group, we didn't even get a goal against us, except for the one we got from Croatia.
I am afraid we'll have to do it as Alen said, in that match, which definately, won't be easy. Too bad Wales couldn't keep the HT result yesterday.

Fuck, you're right. Goal difference is the main separator if teams are level on points :sergio:
So, while in September both Belgium and Croatia will only care about winning their away matches in Scotland and Serbia, the matches in June (Belgium-Serbia, Croatia-Scotland) will also be about winning with as much goals possible. I hope the Serbs won't let you beat them 5:0 just to fuck us up.

I'm not sure about that. Both Croatia & Belgium have been quite lucky at the right moments. I (still) don't think the difference between most teams in this group is as big as the results make you think.

Come on now, Alen. The Serbs already let you guys win (the defending on show made me wonder if the game had been sold), so they should do the same for us :D

If we come third, we will most likely face Iran in a two legged play-off. And if we are to win that, we'd play the 5th place South American team (most likely Ecuador/Chile/Uruguay)

Can't see a repeat of the heroics in 2005 if that was to happen. We are well and truly terrible these days, current batch of players (and coach) just not up to it.

Back then, Italy. Nowadays, I would equally be happy for both the team that went through and disappointed for the team that didn't. Although, I probably would prefer Italy to win only because they would have more of a chance of winning the whole thing.

I hope Australia make it through. I think to me its just nostalgia and it brings back memories of the 2006 world cup. :D

If Juve's "Se Saltelli..." chants have shown anything, it's that all chants that are nasty about someone of a different race are racist.
