Yep, some accurate facts in this article, there is a handful of retards and dumbasses here for years, just like anywhere else, they are the same bunch of lowlifes and for some of them that wasn't their first similar offence. Again, fuck them, but they do not represent me, or my family, friends and generally people that I communicate with.
The incident is starting to look more and more like a political act, which is far worse when looking at the big picture. Article says that the Prime minister asked for Football Union's chief resignation and he filed it. He didn't, he refused to resign and FU (football union)'s PR gave an interview saying that the government and the PM cannot interfere in FU and cannot ask for a resignation. Two hours later the PM sent our Organized Crime Force (special cops unit/baretas - being the equivalent in other countries) to storm the Headquarters of the FU and collect all kinds of data and documents for an investigation for match-fixing, toto nero, irregularities in ref appointments, financial froads. During the raid FU's official website confirmed that Borislav Mihaylov resigns from his position and will present his official resignation at the FU Congress this Friday. He's been at the reigns for 14 years, in which he received millions of millions of money and did practically nothing, every time he was re-elected with no competition at all. Given the state our country is these last decades the first thing that seems logical is that he became a burden or a "problem" so he got removed, like things get done around here. One of the clowns from the stadium turns out to be a familiar face, close to the PM's party, easy to conclude that since the idiots didnt even try to cover they faces. There is a strong belief, still not proven of course, that this was a staged sharade, those clowns were selected, paid and ordered to go to the stadium and act the way they did.
Having said that and still condemning the act of racism, I still stand by what I said, I find it hypocritical for a country like England to label a country like Bulgaria racist. I find it offensive and unacceptable referring to the entire nation as "animals" and "racists", especially when you take the history of both countries into account. Like how one is an ex global empire gaining their riches and power through slave trading and slave labour, while the other wrote a paragraph into its first Constitution after setting free from the Ottoman empire that any slave, regardless of his nationality, race, sex and religion should be treated as a free man as soon as he enters our borders. Several decades later a little country like mine stood up against the biggest dogs on Earth, fought and refused to surrender its more than 10000 jews to a certain moustache, granting them safe exit, which is not something that many countries can say about them(since its a proud moment in history I do know the exact number), and also not the kind of thing that a racist country would do. I also find it ridiculous to be teached about moral, ethics and be urged to "step into the 21st century" on a very sensitive matter by a country that has around 20 registered racism incidents inside their domestic leagues in last month alone, while the author of the article barely manages to name 4 into Bulgaria's account for almost 10 years period.
I also stand behind this - Brits overreacted here, for sure, its about time they stop with their whining, baby crying and name labeling, its getting pathetic and pretty sure that crosses some international laws. The whole world saw what happened, the act was condemned and criticized, the team will be punished, the federation will be fined and banned, rightfully and deservedly, just like with any case of racism that happens on a weekly basis, its not something new, the big noise is due to the fact that England is involved and this time they are on the receiving end for a change, being the victim. That doesn't give them the right to publicly insult and label an entire nation the things they say, thats a very, very classless and ignorant act.

There have been many incidents regarding racism in stadiums in Bulgaria, especially in matches involving the NT and in European competition. Let's not sweep that under the carpet. Having said that this particular incident looked planned and staged to try and get maximum reaction. Maybe it served its purpose as heads are rolling but at what price? The other issue with this is that if people in Bulgaria excuse it by justifying the end then how low are you prepared to sink to achieve your objectives?
@tosh_rose
@Ali, dont want to repeat things I said in my post to the article
@il brutto shared, but you are right, its not an isolated incident,
it is in fact undeniable that these scenes happen in Bulgaria too . It did look staged and planned, to what purpose it remains to be seen, yesterday police arrested 5 people for the charges I mentioned, the head of ref comission (or dont know how its called exactly), the head that assignes refs to the matches, rest are people working for the FU, a prosecutor will decide today whether to bring ahead with the charges and if someone will be charged at all, since our justice system is close to the level of our football.
As to whether the people here excuse or justify what happened, other fellow members here may share their view if they feel like it, but the majority of the population do not stand behind that kind of behaviour, judging by the reactions on TV, social platforms... Like every country, we also have a certain % of the population that consist of retards and complete fools, no education, no primary skills whatsoever, cant read, write in the official language, let alone speak a foreign one, very easy to manipulate. They are in fact part of the main electorate for any elections - their vote can easily be bought and they can easily be manipulated to do something. So, hypothetically, they can be racists today, sexists next week and xenophobes next month, but like someone mentioned, most of those people all over the world are in fact cowards and dont do it in person, on ground. The rest of them however...
