Sarri plays him as a trequartista and he’s a wing
meh. He had a good first year here. But He’s been mostly terrible last year and this year regardless of position. A few good performances under Max last season doesn’t change that. He needs to slim down a bit and regain some speed if he wants to be a winger again. Otherwise should be put in the midfield.

Last year? You mean the year he made all the goals happen for Ronaldo when we beat atletico 3-0 come on guys he has quality and it’s Juventus right now that is making players play like shit Berna and Ronaldo included

He is crazy slim look at his social media and he is quick. It’s night and day when you see him play for Mancini and Sarri

He hasn’t played wide for Sarri and it’s obvious when he’s in position like he plays in Italy he’s a completely different player
false, we didnt adopt the 4312 until vs. brescia and bernardeschi was playing before that and just as awful.

i like berna too but the man has been atrocious this season beyond simply being oyt of position

So you quoted literally the one game where he played at a genuinely world class level out of the 50 other ones he was either generally shit or mediocre in. Cool story.

Berna will be dining off that Atletico game for the rest of his career.

As “good” as he was against Bosnia tonight, he still makes the same old errors. Poor touch, terrible final ball and shit decision making as per usual.

He played wide with Sarri as coach. Just look out for post earlier in the season. He was bad and Sarri even said to the press that Berna is not a winger

He was superb in most of his appearances in his first season here, and seemed a danger to score or assist every time he was on the pitch. (Has something like a goal or assist every 90-100 minutes in 17-18)

But he felt apart last season, appalling decision making, poor fitness, slow, and all. Disappointing. And has nothing to do with Sarri or Allegri imo. Berna’s mediocrity the last 16 months is on him alone.

We played 433 before that and Berna didn’t play out wide sooo like I said never played in position
huh? then what was he? a false #7?

its ok to like him but common the dude is having a terrible season that you cant or wont see that is inexplicable. the guy cant control a football, he's shit right now and him unable to do basic things properly has nothing to do with position
