Milan club execs under investigation - source
The president of Internazionale and the vice president of Milan have been placed under investigation by an Italian magistrate probing false accounting in Serie A football, a judicial source said on Wednesday.
Milan public prosecutor Carlo Nocerino plans to summon Inter's Massimo Moratti and Milan's Adriano Galliani for questioning in the investigation into possible balance sheet irregularities, the source told Reuters.

The prosecutor is investigating whether clubs manipulated their balance sheets by inflating the prices of players they bought and sold, the source said.

In Italy, being placed under investigation does not indicate guilt and does not necessarily lead to criminal charges.

Inter Milan refused to comment on the news, although they had previously said they were confident they would be able to refute any claims of financial irregularity. AC Milan have also insisted their books are correct.

Milan's public prosecutor has questioned whether Inter could have passed the financial tests required to take part in the 2004-05 Serie A season without improperly adjusting its accounts. :)eyebrows: )
Nocerino intends to hand his findings to the Italian Football Federation, which could then decide whether to open its own investigation, the judicial source said.

Last September, Rome magistrates called for the president of AS Roma, Franco Sensi, and the former president of Lazio, Sergio Cragnotti, to stand trial for false accounting. Both men denied the accusations.

Other investigations into false accounting in Italian football are under way in Genoa and Turin.

Finally they opened their eyes on the 180 million debt.

But, as you can see, it's just* the ordinary justice working. The sportive one didn't move a finger, exactly like they did with recoba's false passport and many other things.
They spring to life only against us :disagree:

* "Just", well.. Inter is not going to be touched, but Moratti and friends, though.. :eyebrows:

My point is that while Inter and Milan would be proven as cheaters (even though it wouldn't be the first time for Inter), Juve was never proven as one.

and all this is founded on the basis of opinion, not facts. i cant see how its right for a club to have both title's revoked, 1 being clean and given to a 3rd placed team that won more penos last season than paolo montero and vieira's red cards. u wud have to be simply ignorant to believe that 1 man cud make a whole league corrupt, i find it remarkable how guido rossi treated this whole case, then when it was stamped and sealed, he quit to lead the telecoms firm that ironically 'intercepted' these calls which even to this day have yet to have been fully analyzed

Well-said, I must say. There's nothing left to do; just take the kick in the nads, make sure both are still there, get up and move on. Everyone here sounds like Inter et al. did years back when they claimed Juventus was being favoured. Right now, you're just as good as they were.
