I don't think that's true at all, I'd say this year's Barca are better by quite much.
If you match the Barca players up with that of Real's in 2003, there is not much of a difference. Ronaldo for Etoo, Zidane for Ronaldinho, Figo for Deco and so. And Real actually had a top defensive midfielder in Makelele, which Barca does not have. As in terms of style they are very similar, controlling possesion with the wing backs all the way up the pitch. I just don't think you can say this Barca is much better than that 2003 Real.

Hey shenanigans, I bet your thinking that staring this thread wasn't a good idea after all, rigth? :D
    heh, yeah...too many pessimists.

its very ironic that someone called gandalf talked to me so personally, but then said its only a forum.

im not a cheerleader, but his pessimism is unbeleivable. ive never posted DP is the best or something like that. but i do realise this juve squad is one of the strongest ive ever seen. theres no need to say were overated. if anything, were not rated as much as we should be by commentators and so on; the 1-0 labels and so on.

oh, and take it easy you suckers. you probably dont realise youre own irony. JEAH!

youre so negative it must be that youre like that simply for the sake of being negative.

every post in a match thread is complaints and more complaints, not to mention with mile long exclamation marks. sort yourself out; when i read your posts i just shake my head thinking is this guy serious.

    get a new gimmick.

Well this certainly is an amusing little thread!

I've never had a problem with Shenanigans but if I was asked to choose between him and Vinman I'd choose Vinman all the way.

Not only do I like the fact that he speaks his mind, that often goes against what many other posters think, I like the way he does it.

The Bianconeri have been leading the way throughout the campaign thanks to Fabio Capello’s intelligent tactics and hard-working squad, but in the last month some cracks have started to appear. Unconvincing victories over Lecce, Lazio and Bologna were peppered with defeat at Reggina and the extraordinary 2-2 draw at Inter. It took a last-gasp and extremely controversial Pavel Nedved free kick to keep the lead at four points last week and confidence is not running high. Alessandro Del Piero is still looking for his best form, while the partnership with Zlatan Ibrahimovic hasn’t quite gelled yet.

I guess that Channel4, one of the most respected sites for Calcio is a bit skeptical as well

We are playing in neutral right now, while Milan is hitting overdrive

I, more than anyone else hope I'm wrong...............

May I add that when Juventus beat Real Madrid 3-1 Makelele didnt play thats why their defensive midfield sucked.

He was either injured or suspended, but he did not play

Exactly, which shows the weakness of Barca's side IMO.

Motta and Edmilson out with injury until Spring.

Yep. That's why we humiliated Real. Still, we really outplayed them on every front, so I think we would have gone through even had Makelele played. It just wouldn't have been such a humilitation.

Au contraire, itd have been more humiliating because they would have played with their full squad. Juve that night was unbelievable. I have somewhere around here a tape with that match -its worth watching over and over again

Andrew: hasnt Motta been out for awhile?

This is a stupid thread indeed. If u have something to say then do it in the thread u saw and don't open a new one:groan:

I see everyone agrees with Vinman.so are you guys all agree that juventus have no hope against milan.and will lose 3-0?
We can win or lose or a draw anything can happen.that is what I think and argued with him about that.I'm not saying we will trash milan etc.. what he is talking about has nothing to do with realism.man even if we were today's roma or Inter I would still have hope for the match against Milan.
I, like him, hate those comments like we are the best, del piero is the best etc.. but saying the opposite,I consider it the same like those who exagerate.
I tried to tell my opinion to him.but all he did was insult me.called me blind, and that I know nothing about Juve,I don't see juve matches etc..

It's obvious Juventus is not playing well in the last month, but I don't expect every game to be perfect. That what happens with football teams, ups and downs.
Criticism is right here, that's not the way we want to see Juve, we don't score enough goals, and Zlatan miss chances (if he's getting any) but I'm not that worried because I'm aware of the team potential, and we can get out of the bad form (if we don't then I will start to worry)
