Judgin by the comments DP won.

Also, DP scored more for Italy (top scorer in Euro2004 qualifications) and in CL (top scorer in 1998).
I know you're biased and lack objectivity when it comes to DP, like a few others on here, but scoring more in the CL has to do with the fact that we were a far more dominant team (Roma participated in lfar fewer editions until calciopoli in 2006).

Totti <<< Del Piero.

Whether you want to compare skill, goalscoring ability, playmaking, dribbling or just simply the different levels of class, Totti was never at ADP’s level, not individually nor at a team level, one played to be a champion year in/year out and to compete/fight to win in Europe while the other stayed in his comfort zone at a team that lacked ambition for majority of his stay there, great player but never was as challenged or as ambitious as Del Piero, then NT was a different story altoghether and even there i feel they had a similar contribution altough i’d admit Totti might have actually been a better fit overall for Italy, but that’s something i’d rather say referring more to their latter years.

One thing i’d give to Totti is his lobbed goals, free kicks(which can be compared to ADP’s) and strength/aggression which indeed were a standout and came as a regular feat to him, but in terms of character, mentality and everything else he is/was miles behind in comparison.

Somebody is telling me that Totti was better than Ale?
Don’t think anyone can genuinly state such bs, however what some were trying to make a point of i think was that there were maybe certain aspects of Totti’s game that might have been comparable or slightly better than ADP’s, which altough i disagree with isn’t entirely false either, however what’s most important is that it’s rather more like for every one thing Totti is better than Del Piero at there are probably three other things ADP is much more efficient/better at than him in comparison.

Actually, a fair number of non Juventus supporters genuinely believe Totti is better. He was a magnificent player no doubt, but Del Piero pre injury was potential GOAT status - the only other Italian player who was at that level was the great Roberto Baggio, a player whose clipped toenails have more grinta, class, and skill than every ounce of Turdeski's woke being.

Ok how many EL goals Totti has?
More than you, so greater than Zero :p

Del Piero scored 51 goals in 127 games across all continental competitions, while Totti has 38 in 103.

They're both great players, but obviously Del Piero is better (as a Juventus supporter, you can't think otherwise). As an objective football fan, Del Piero's impact, style of play, and influence both on and off the pitch still renders him the superior player/individual.

People tend to forget that ADP suffered a very serious injury. We won't discuss ADP vs Totti if ADP never got that injury.
I think ADP was similar level with R9 but both were hampered with injuries otherwise we could see rivalry like CR vs Messi in 90's
