Totti <<< Del Piero.
Whether you want to compare skill, goalscoring ability, playmaking, dribbling or just simply the different levels of class, Totti was never at ADP’s level, not individually nor at a team level, one played to be a champion year in/year out and to compete/fight to win in Europe while the other stayed in his comfort zone at a team that lacked ambition for majority of his stay there, great player but never was as challenged or as ambitious as Del Piero, then NT was a different story altoghether and even there i feel they had a similar contribution altough i’d admit Totti might have actually been a better fit overall for Italy, but that’s something i’d rather say referring more to their latter years.
One thing i’d give to Totti is his lobbed goals, free kicks(which can be compared to ADP’s) and strength/aggression which indeed were a standout and came as a regular feat to him, but in terms of character, mentality and everything else he is/was miles behind in comparison.
