Alessandro del Piero unlikely to join Celtic - Neil lennon

Neil Lennon has confirmed Celtic's interest in Alessandro del Piero but does not expect the Italian to join the Scottish Premier League champions.
Del Piero, 37, is currently a free agent after ending a 19-year spell with Juventus .
"There has been contact with his advisors," said Celtic boss Lennon. "I didn't speak to them, the club did.
"But I don't think there is any more mileage in that. We are working hard to add one, two or three if we can."
Lennon says he would consider signing a player of Del Piero's age.
"A name crops up, it doesn't matter how old he is, if it is there to be looked at, we have looked at it," he added.
"But I don't think it is going to go any further than that."
