I didn't expect more from you anyway, you can't seem to provide anything that says Ale has been bad like you make it. You're naming matches where in most of them he got more and better ratings than his team-mates.

Excellent? I don't remember any of our strikers/forwards having excellent games(s) this season. The only excellent players in our squad this year are Pirlo, Lich and Barzagli.

I suggest you do ignore the other matches because he was good in most of his other little matches that he had.

Because I don't usually go to all thread after a game to post smiley faces or repeat what other people say, I think that bringing in Del Piero and NOT Quagliarella affected our chances to score that winning goal.

Yup. I'd be all in for playing him more if we had built a team for 4-4-2. The dilemma here is: Play Del Piero: weaken the midfield and indirectly the defense / more attacking dynamic and probably more goals scored too vs 4-3-3, midfield is playing like a dream, best defense in the league / less prolific frontline.

He was bad most of the games, and horrible a few more. The only good showings from Del Piero were the first halfs of the matches against Roma and Bologna in the Coppa Italia.

And I'm not so sure about the good ratings from press and media, show me some ratings please, better be from different sources.

Matri had several excellent games for us this season and should start every single game wnile Quag and Vucinic had more good displays than Del Piero.

When I say Del Piero is past it or had several bad games, which obviously is the case whether your biased opinion agrees or not, I don't expect to be called a Del Piero hater. Afterall, we're posting in Juventus forums where it's impossible to hate on the greatest legend your club has ever produced. I was just reflecting on what Conte did wrong with that substitution and you diverted the discussion into this anti-Delpiero statements.

I have done that. My problem is with the 10-15min he's playing each 6 games. I'm not bothered that he's not starting I repeat again, not showing confidence in him and other bench players is what bother me. On the other hand people judging him against Genoa. Seriously?

I agree. He should've been subbed in instead of Borrigol a few times. He's not as good as he was a few years ago, but swapping Matri for Borrigol won't change anything in attack. Plenty of critique pointed at Conte for that in generel mind you.

I think when people are refering to he's useless(at least in my case) is that he is useless in our current system. It is obvious our team performs best with 433. And you like it or not, think i make sense or not he stil doesn't have place in this system. It's no disrispect it just simple logic. He can't play on the wing, he can't play in the center. So in order to make use of him we need to change the whole system we play, and I don't think he is good enough anymore or offers enough to do that.
