Anyone who says club > player, club > anyone, is stupid or football fascist.

You know what? I think I'll visit here once in a while, just for you mothafuckaaaa.
So player>club? wow

The most hilarious one is when they say this: Club success > Del Piero.

As if Del Piero is standing in the way.
that makes no sense, who says that?

Well if Juve win the league now, with DP not scoring or assisting any goals whole season, you can't fault coach or anyone for not playing him or playing someone like fucking joke of a footballer pepe instead of him.

To be fair, that's a bit of a misinterpretation.

Saying club > Del Piero means that the interests of any player, regardless of status, cannot be put before the whole club; it doesn't mean that the club's success and Del Piero's interests are mutually exclusive or that ADP stands in the way of the club's success.

This is the way it should be:

Club (Juventus) > Player (Del Piero)
However, Del Piero = legend.
Therefore, Del Piero should be allowed to stay at the club as long as he wants and be used as a super sub & in club matches.

Status matters a lot to me. Not only in Football but in general.

This is the way it should be:

Club (Juventus) > Player (Del Piero)
However, Del Piero = legend.
Therefore, Del Piero should be allowed to stay at the club as long as he wants and be used as a super sub & in club matches.
If the club that is running under Andrea Agnelli and bunch of no ones around him then you got this wrong.

Del Piero, Trezeguet, Buffon, Nedved > Club.

Says who? If people wanna be Delpie fans first and as a result, support Juve secondarily, nothing wrong with that. Even if it is annoying :D

I just don't get why people would stop supporting a club because of something it did, or a change in personnel, etc. All we really support is the name Juventus. Nothing is fixed about this or any club. Players, managers, presidents come and go. Juve culture, tradition, style, whatever is what these people make it. So when people say that the club isn't the same anymore, or that they would never expect such treatment from the club - well why did you think that?

No, it's still Juventus regardless of which clowns are running the club.

Me. And I really think they should go do that somewhere else and argue about it with other Del Piero not Juve fans because it all leads to messy situations and nasty words.

In this case? for sure.

After all, I'm proud of being DP-fan and not just another 'shirt fan', like Seinfeld once said. I love nothing about this club these days except of its past. Who should I support? Agnelli? Conte?

This club used to be different back then, today I can't support Juventus without Ale. Can't, won't. Few decades ago clubs represented something, players represented something, the 'one team for life' thing was born for a good reason. Today, it's all about money, it's all business, nothing's left from the old Juve. It's a company, not a club. No loyalty, no respect, just another company.

I'll always say I used to be a fan of the old Juve, and maybe I'll support this team again in few years, but not in its current version. You wanna be romantic and talk about past, fans and all that? go ahead. Like Hoori said, fan is a subjective term, and as for myself, I'm a DP fan, a fan of the old Juve and maybe future Juve too. But I'm not gonna be blind/stupid/fascist and support a club no matter what.

I'm a fan of a man with the good, old values, not the BIG company that treats him like shit.

I tend to think that the thought about clubs being more with idea virtues and less about winning and money would corellate with our age, the more young we are the more ideas and romantics are in football.

MU are great towards their legends. Actually they've earned a lot of my respect lately, especially via they way some of their legends admire/respect Juventus. It's official I don't hate MU anymore.
