You fuckers are just looking for excuses not to follow Juve anymore because it's getting harder and harder to commit as you get older and adult problems keep piling up, aren't you? BUSTED!
It's matter of principle to me.

And I have no commitments as I never grow old :p

Yeah, keep trying to fight anyone who's not on the same passion as you about him so you could feel even more passionate about this player. Good luck, name them all and feel like you are the best fan in the world.
I feel I'm one of the best fans in the world for loving, honoring and respecting Ale. That was one of the best things I've done in my life, not that I've done many :D.

You seriously do not how it feels to love him so much. You missed a lot, you hater.

The fans decide who's a legend and who's not, who's uno di noi and who is not. The fans are Juventus.
Boycotting Juventus because management fucked up is stupid, makes no sense.

But who decides the player's future and contracts? Who speaks on behalf of the club?

I can't boycott Juve literally, no one can after watching them for so many years, but I'm already losing some interest.

Add to that the type of fans we have lately pretty much aren't any different than the Barca or Madrid ones. They're only into pony show, transfers, have no respect for legends and think this is some FM they're watching.

Well it sounds like that's what Del Piero is to you...
That's because he's more than a God.

Easy there tiger, You don't talk to a lady like that.

I agree with her tho, they threw Trez out the same way they are disposing our biggest Legend ever.
Club>player

End of story.

So basically people are admitting to being Del Piero fans rather than Juventus fans?
Yep. There's nothing wrong with that except that they should go to a Del Piero forum and not a JUVENTUS forum.

He is king Ale.

I don't know about other people but I'm more of a Del Piero fan rather than a Juve fan. It doesn't mean that I wouldn't support Juventus after Alex' retirement but things have to be done in the right way. You just can't show the door to a player like Del Piero.

We are quite comfortable in this thread.

He has to go sometime. I think some would have a problem with him leaving no matter the circumstance, and someone would shoulder the blame.

We'd all like to see him riding off into the distance holding the CL trophy, but football isn't romantic now.

Well, I certainly am not on your level, but I'm no hater that's for sure. How can you hate your all time favorite player?

While I'm almost sure that none of the fans here (even Rab and except for me) would stop supporting Juve after Ale's retirement, I'm also sure that if our club had let him decide on his retirement himself without trying to remind him that this is going to be his last season, I'd have been perfectly okay with his retirement. Players' interests definitely come after those of the club, if the coach doesn't think that Ale is good enough, he has to bench him, no complaints there. But for a player like him, especially with such low salaries, Juve can afford offering new contracts as a sign of gratitude and respect (for almost 20 years of service) every year until he decides to hang up his boots.
