 Kind of...i also had my own chair outside, you know, sitting there, waiting for the principal to come...

Good times :D
:D

My principle would always expected to see me in his office, if i wasn't there, he'd suspect i was either bunking class or really sick.At one point i referred to all the teachers by their first names.:D

:D

The most incredible thing happend to me during the World Cup of 2002. I missed school for like 3 weeks in a row (it's was morning here in Israel when they play in Korea-Japan). Suddenly, after 3 weeks, the principal called my parents in Friday, minutes before England-Brazil started. He said that if i won't come to school immediately they may not promote me to the 7th grade. My mother was totally nervous, my father didn't give a fuck cause he was all concentrate with the match, and then the principal called me to the phone. I told him that i don't care, and i'll never miss this quarter final..there was silence for like 5 seconds, and then he said:"Ok. Watch the match, i understand it's a big one. but you better come here on Sunday".

I watched the match (i was so happy! the principal just gave me a permission to stay at home!), but i just can't remember what happend on Sunday... :)

Seriously cool story, bro. These days the kids got 3G and WiFi connection's at school and can easily stream the match while taking classes. Back in the day you had to cut class to watch a WC/Euro match .

:agree:

We're lucky that we were kids in the 90's and early years of the previous decade, just before it all changed...it's all different now with the internet, totally different world. Being a child was much cooler when we were kids, internet generation sucks. It's all about you and your computer\Iphone\PSP and this shit

There are good things about the internet but it'll take too long to count the bad things, the things the internet ruined. I'm glad i got the chance to know how it was like before the WWW.

I don't have Facebook account BTW, hate it

"Angelii brings enthusiasm, Marotta and Del Neri are OK, its nice to have an Italian atmosphere at the club"

"Krasic reminds me of Nedved, Ferrara no bitterness, National team if I'm required"

I Want To Play Until I Am 40 & Win Everything With Juventus - Alessandro Del Piero
Del Piero underlines his list of objectives...

Alessandro Del Piero has pledged his allegiance to Juventus, and strongly feels he can play until he is 40.

Del Piero has seen plenty of changes over 17 years at the club, and he is ready to apply himself more with his lengthy list of proposals to hand.

"I want to play until I am 40 and win here. We cannot set ourselves limits," he told Il Corriere dello Sport.

"We have changed 10 players this year and it's an important step. The reconstruction is long and difficult. We have good quality players who have a will to do well."

And the Italian wants to see a return to the glory days when Juventus were familiar with Champions League and Scudetto trophies.

"Winning now means going back to the old levels and old objectives. Everything can happen," added Del Piero.

Despite several sides improving over the summer, Del Piero is aware Inter are still the touchstone with which to be measured.

"The game against Inter will show us where we will get to," he said.

The years pass and 18 are many. For Alessandro Del Piero it's not enough, even if he's turn 36 in November. The Juventus captain is in the center of the new project by Agnelli, Marotta and Delneri. He's in line with the ideas of his coach, with juve start all over again: the new team, but also new teammates, technical staff, medical staff. Alex speaks about 'no-limits' Juve but he doesn't put limits to himself. He compliments Galliani for his purchases, gives a polite answer to Ciro, indicates again that Inter is the team to beat and shares the strategies of his president who wants an Italian team.

New season-
How was it like to hear Delneri says that Juve is not a team for the scudetto? "Delneri declared what he meant and i'm with him. this is a new season and everything changed here- players, managers, technical staff and even doctors. we're working on the foundations of the new construction. talking about the Scudetto while we're still during building process doesn't make any sense. i'm with Delneri- we don't put limits to ourselves". -But this team can win anything or not? -"Now winning for us is come back to the levels where we belong, then anything can happen". Did you expect the difficulties after the return to Serie A? -"I expected the difficulties we had. we had two fine season after the promotion but unfortunately it went wrong last year. Now we have started a new story".

The Agnelli family-
"First John and now Andrea ensure what it always was: Agnelli family is behind this great club who has the will to re-emerge. From 2006 to present they all worked extremely hard. They have many people's destiny in their hands. I see only positive things in their work".

Ciro and the Mercato-
What do you expect from the battle of Andrea to get back the badges of the Scudetti? "For me it was always 29. You can reat that in my website.

The market for Juve was defined as "low profile". What do you think? "Juventus has changed ten players and I think it's an important step. The reconstruction process is long and difficult. We brought in good quality guys who have a great desire to succeed".

Ferrara? "It's true that since he retired we saw each other less than before. I wish him to get back to work quickly to forget the last season. It was a bad season to everyone, not just him".

EDIT:
Nazionale- "If Prandelli will call me to help i'll say yes".

Future- "70 percent of my projects are done. i hope to play in our new stadium and play until 40 with this shirt".

EDIT 2:
"If i'll move to the MLS in June? well, for years they talk about me moving to america, nothing new- maybe because i love to go on vacations there...i'm fine here in Turin and i have the will to continue and play. I know that here after "X" years your carrier is over, but X in not next June. New contract? Not now, but i expect negotiaitons".

My translation, from the Corriere Dello Sport website. Hope i can get the full interview soon :)
