The years pass and 18 are many. For Alessandro Del Piero it's not enough, even if he's turn 36 in November. The Juventus captain is in the center of the new project by Agnelli, Marotta and Delneri. He's in line with the ideas of his coach, with juve start all over again: the new team, but also new teammates, technical staff, medical staff. Alex speaks about 'no-limits' Juve but he doesn't put limits to himself. He compliments Galliani for his purchases, gives a polite answer to Ciro, indicates again that Inter is the team to beat and shares the strategies of his president who wants an Italian team.
New season-
How was it like to hear Delneri says that Juve is not a team for the scudetto? "Delneri declared what he meant and i'm with him. this is a new season and everything changed here- players, managers, technical staff and even doctors. we're working on the foundations of the new construction. talking about the Scudetto while we're still during building process doesn't make any sense. i'm with Delneri- we don't put limits to ourselves". -But this team can win anything or not? -"Now winning for us is come back to the levels where we belong, then anything can happen". Did you expect the difficulties after the return to Serie A? -"I expected the difficulties we had. we had two fine season after the promotion but unfortunately it went wrong last year. Now we have started a new story".
The Agnelli family-
"First John and now Andrea ensure what it always was: Agnelli family is behind this great club who has the will to re-emerge. From 2006 to present they all worked extremely hard. They have many people's destiny in their hands. I see only positive things in their work".
Ciro and the Mercato-
What do you expect from the battle of Andrea to get back the badges of the Scudetti? "For me it was always 29. You can reat that in my website.
The market for Juve was defined as "low profile". What do you think? "Juventus has changed ten players and I think it's an important step. The reconstruction process is long and difficult. We brought in good quality guys who have a great desire to succeed".
Ferrara? "It's true that since he retired we saw each other less than before. I wish him to get back to work quickly to forget the last season. It was a bad season to everyone, not just him".
EDIT:
Nazionale- "If Prandelli will call me to help i'll say yes".
Future- "70 percent of my projects are done. i hope to play in our new stadium and play until 40 with this shirt".
EDIT 2:
"If i'll move to the MLS in June? well, for years they talk about me moving to america, nothing new- maybe because i love to go on vacations there...i'm fine here in Turin and i have the will to continue and play. I know that here after "X" years your carrier is over, but X in not next June. New contract? Not now, but i expect negotiaitons".
