Hehehe besides being doomed, you consult religious experts and or go by the time to the nearest muslim country (oughta be Turkey), atleast based on past discussion, heard that option.

The closer it gets to summer more and more, the more ridicolous the hours get, next year, it will be 22.00 or such me thinks. Allways been talk about the above options, particularly the part of nearest muslim country etc.
That sounds like cheating. I'm pretty sure that when god created the world he was well aware that those traveling the north would have to fast for a few weeks.

You'd have to ask Ranieri or people inside the club to give a clear answer, I doubt they're willing to reveal it tho. All I know is that these were Del Piero's 3 last games under Ranieri: subbed at halftime vs Lecce and benched for aforementioned games and then Ranieri gets the sack. Logically there had to be a reason for that, don't you think so? You don't just bench your captain out of the blue like that. And it's not like Del Piero was injured, he scored a lot before those games and he scored twice in the first game after Ranieri.

You are all big fans of Del Piero, why don't you tell me why Del Piero was benched for those games?
Why should I? I ask you a clear question and you have no answer for that except for saying that Ale was benched/subbed in those games before Ranieri got sacked, so what? Did Del Piero also publicly criticize Ranieri? Did he get sent off for unnecessary fouls leaving the team with one man down? Did he come on the pitch 10 minutes earlier than other players normally do? You have examples to say about Trezeguet, Buffon and Camoranesi but in the end, all the blame is on Del Piero why Ranieri was sent home, isn't it. I never remember him bashing Ranieri talking to the media or doing something unprofessional on the pitch. He was always giving his best whenever he was playing and as far as I remember, his interviews after our losses (which seemed to be endless) were the only comforting things for us, the fans

I really don't know what you guys are on. I don't deny that the players were not following the coach's instructions in the last games and this is most probably what Ranieri was sad about when he said he would talk about it to the papers someday. Surprisingly, some tend to translate it into "it was Del Piero why they fired me" even though they can't still tell me what exactly Del Piero did that they saw and I didn't or I don't remember to say the least.

Hoori, are you seriously asking them? One gives us an interview of Ranieri that has nothing to do with Del Piero not even referring to players or anyone. The other names what Buffon, Camo and Trezeguet and is asking us why was Del Piero benched and he want a clear answer for something we have no idea.

If any of them had any idea or knows a thing for a fact they would have mentioned it but they're chewing their posts like elastic trying to catch their right ear with their left hand.

They just want to find a scapegoat for the poor results we had, unfortunately they selected the wrong scapegoat.

Del piero is the main problem in our team. He should be kicked out or shipped along with some money for Stankovic or Materazzi. He slow, fat, greasy, smelly, sweaty, and obnoxious. He is the reason for all disasters that happen to Juventus, Mr. Alessandro Del piero, YOU ARE A BIG FRAUD.

We will never know even half of what went on behind the scenes. The fact that Ranieri benched Del Piero while he was neither injured nor out of form is enough proof for me that something was wrong between them. It's not for you and that's fine by me.

Are you serious? Seriously, are you for real or just messing around?

What if he was resting Del Piero? What if Del Piero himself wasn't feeling well? What if he wanted to give a chance for other players?

Wtf are you talking about? Our CL spot was on the line, and he's RESTING Del Piero or giving chances to other players! I can't believe the nonsense people post in this thread.

Maybe he thought DP was off form and wanted to play other players. Maybe its just for tactical reasons, maybe, maybe , maybe.

I remember that the forum, especially certain members, went nuts when Ranieri benched Del Piero, especially on the match against Milan (we still have the match threads here, btw. Interesting reading they are. One thread was even tittled "Milan-Del Piero-less Juve").
Now the same members will try to find logical reasons why was DP benched.

And Gustav is simply saying what he thinks was the reason DP was benched. He's not claiming anything, nor forcing his opinion on anyone.
I 100% agree with him.

Del Piero may have been a lot of things but off form was not one of em. Before those games that I mentioned, he scored 6 goals in 8 games, and in the first game after Ranieri was sacked he scored 2 goals. You don't experiment with tactics when you're playing Milan in San Siro and your CL spot is on the line.

You sure Gustav? I think that on the 3-4 matches before Lecce (and including part of that match) he joined Camo in the "not even trying mode". At least some of my posts from back then show that

What did make Del Piero suddenly started to have problems with Ranieri even though he was on a great form and his starting post was not in danger, something that seems to be the only thing he cares about?
