You know what good is going to come out of this??

A revolution, baby!!!!!!

Oh yeah.

Youth project, in full effect. I don't care if they suck balls next year, just let them grow as players, and watch out world in a couple of seasons.

Anyone over 30...............................C- Ya. With the exception of Alex, and only Alex.

Everyone else. Gone. Don't care who it is. Cash in on Buffon, get rid of everyone whose age starts with a 3.

Get rid of all of 'em.
and then? :D

So potentionally we will lose a lot of fans once DP leaves the field of play.

Not like that's surprising, or anything. Probably more people here feel the same way... more than they let on.
If we suck the way we suck this year, then yes. Many will lose interest. Not completely, but they'll lose interest.
And can you blame them? Didn't you catch yourself feeling disgusted while watching Juve and not feeling excited at all before a Juve match? I felt like going to a funeral before some Juve matches.
You or I can blame such fans and call them traitors or whatever we come up with, but after what Juve did to them this season, I will completely understand those fans who will lose interest in watching Juve matches.

Folks won't like hearing this, but I'd be for selling Buffon to City for 50+M Euros. We need to get that cash injection from somewhere.

But this is after we get a competent board, of course.

Interesting indeed. But who's going to take the reigns? Please don't say Cassano...
Nope. Not at this point. I love the dude, but he will be 28 next year. Too old for my tastes now.

They need to rebuild and get younger, and far more athletic.

Blow it all up, and start over again. Build the team around Diego for all I care, but if there is one player in the starting 11 who is 30 or over next year, I'm gonna be pissed.

They've put this off for too long, and should have done this once they were promoted again.

Why would you not want a player with so much class on the field?
Cassano isn't a classy professional, but he is a great player. Just one I don't care for.

If we suck the way we suck this year, then yes. Many will lose interest. Not completely, but they'll lose interest.

I can see people losing interest, sure. But even despite being so atrocious I personally don't like missing matches.

And then what???

You mean that for some reason only palermo can unearth gems like javier Pastore, or Fiorentina with Jovetic.

Bullshit. I call Bullshit. The problem is that Juve is crushed under the weight of the expectations of the fans and its own delusion of grandeur.

Well, that time has past. invest in youth. scour the earth three times over.

I would rather they suck for a couple of years for the tradeoff of seeing a brand new Juve Renessaince in a couple of years.

That is just the way I feel.

Legends, schmegends. There is only one, in my estimation, who should be with Juve until he drops dead, and that is Alex. All the others, let them go. Sell them off. Or do people honestly think that these guys being around for another year and another year older will somehow make them better.

Hell no.

Of course.

50 million can get you 3-4 young players, which is what this team desperately needs.

I'd be all for it.

Thank you Gianluigi, you served Juve well. Now hurry up and leave before man City changes their mind

Well isn't that the theory on you? :D
Check my post history, ho, and tell me that I am not infinitely more enjoyable now than I was 7 years ago when I was all like

"Hi, I'm USA Juventini, please be my friend, or I'll cry."

Fuck that. Admit it, Martin, you love me now more than ever :D

Of course you can blame them; one has to be willing to suffer the bad times to truly enjoy the good ones.

And they only have to sit and home and watch, not like some of us who actually spend heaps of time and money to chase a club around, despite them being rubbish for the majority of the time.

Only because like a crack dealer you let everyone have a piece for free and now you're taking the merchandise off the market for long periods of time to create a buzz.

:agree:

I get pissed off during the game when we play like shit, but when it's over, don't think about it that much...love 'em too much to dwell on the negatives.

It seems to work, though.

Or as my wife says "I love you to death, but I swear, you're an evil genius"

Goal Keepers don't reach their peak until their thirties. And someone like Trez can play the Inzaghi role and be the poacher in the last few minutes of the game when things are tight. That's when experience counts.

Having said that though I think everyone but the board can see that rejuvenation was required after calciopoli and it just never happened. I think we've had a bad squad since 07/08, we had a respectable (sort of) season after promotion because other clubs still feared us for being Juventus. that soon wore off and teams started getting the better of us. We're just seeing now results we should have been getting a long time ago. The laziness of this board is criminal! Taking short cuts to plug holes with whatever was available for cheap at the time (not talking about Canna) was never going to work.

Juventus is more than just a team, we were one of the biggest clubs in the world, players would find extra and become better once they signed for us. Problem is now Juventus can't inspire payers to bring the best out of them selves. They can only do that with youth who are still in awe of the club. The big players will only see Juve as a step down now :frown:
