DEL PIERO HATER!

Guys, chill out, we're just celebrating a qualification and captain's first goals since May. He's still rusty, but also still our best attacker. Just enjoy the moment.
That's what I mean, I am enjoying the moment, I loved his goals, his celebration, seeing him on the pitch. I just can't honestly say he's ' his old self '. I'm used to a far better Del Piero, so that's what I'm saying, and so are most of the rest. ( Apart from the few just fishing for a reaction. )

I simply don't understand what's wrong with that.

I might have exaggerated about our best performance of the season, but it is definitely our best performance since the 5-1.

And yes, I believe that a major part of Melo playing well was due to Del Piero starting the game and having our captain back. The whole team played well and were pressure free.. This is what Del Piero has been doing for such a long time. The players trust him.
Del Piero had nothing to do with Melo having a good game. Melo kept his passing simple instead of trying to find Del Piero wherever he was on the pitch, and intercepted many passes and crosses from the wing.

Give the credit to Melo, not Del Piero, for Melo's own performance, clowns.

You can love the guy, but objectivity isn't a bad thing either. I'm very happy for him and his goals though.
But some are never satisfied and they enjoy bitching pretty much.

Del Piero scored two goals, instead of either soaping it or celebrating his return(Sorry I mean his off-form return) they come here to bitch and cry saying how unsatisfied they were with his performance.

Only appreciators can be satisfied and this is why he got one wonderful standing ovation tonight.

Diego was class against Roma and Sampdoria and Atalanta. Del Piero did not play any of those games. Melo was indeed the same Del Piero did not play those games either. This Del Piero effect people are going on about is non existent and utterly retarded excuse to big him up.
C'mon no need for that now. Don't say that guys.

Many people can be biased and I don't blame them if that's the case. I think he did good tonight. Many fouls on him and he still scored two goals to secure us a victory. We're not here to compare our players' performances.

Important thing is that we won, Del Piero is back on track and so are our Brazilians.

So Forza Juve and Forza Alex.

You can't say anything remotely bad about Del Piero. That's what's wrong with that.

Silly stuff.

I got to agree with you here.

Where was the Del Piero effect against the french in CL? I mean, he has effect on players I don't doubt that, but you people seem to think that those professionals have no motivation to go onto the pitch if its without Del Piero.

Nothing wrong. We're just happy that even at his rustiest he manages to intimidate the opponents, indeed we played pressure-free for the first time in months.

Some want to provoke.. you should know this place better than that, but I know you get pretty emotional defending Del Piero.

I'm not the one you should be telling that though, I loved seeing him on the pitch and I jumped for both goals. It's just so that because he's just coming back from injury or for whatever reason, he's not ' his old self ' right now. Still good enough to score 2, but simply not his best self.

He's big enough Nick. I also don't think he had anything to do with the other players playing better than always. He was present against Bayern too yet Melo and Diego were horrendous. Thing is that we really suffered from his absence the whole season. He used to be always someone to save our asses when we had troubles. This is what we've been lacking this season (it's sad though and we must find his replacement as soon as possible for the next seasons).

Ale's form is far from what it used to be in the past few seasons but he needs to play more to regain his form especially now that we don't really have more on-form players than him upfront (excluding Trez). You also can't deny the fact that him being on the pitch (as someone who's more experienced than the rest of players) can bring confidence and relief to the team. I'm happy about his tonight's performance. It sure wasn't a MOM performance but it can be just a starting point for him regaining his form and playing better little by little.

Absolutely, and it's sorry stuff. In fact, it makes folks look more like Del Piero fans than Juventus fans. That's what it comes down to.

Del Piero:touched:

You make people come out of their colors. Keep hitting the critics keep doing it. The more you do it the more you burn them:howler:
But we want what is best for Del Piero because it translates in better chances of success for the club.

Rab, I love you bro, but you are incapable of objectively looking at Alex. There's nothing wrong about that, but just don't make it seem like we hate Del Piero. You know I don't.
