I want him to stay and continue to play. If he wants to play somewhere else I see only one option. He plays in China, Japan or America, perhaps even Brazil. Somewhere he can provide himself with some new useful relationships and partners which can be useful for us once he returns after retirement. But that is the only reason I would let him leave. If he wants to stay I'd be more than happy to hand him a contract if I were Marotta.

I would not be OK with him staying on Europe. I will always accept whatever he decides but it would tear me apart to see him in any other "shirt" from Europe. It sais made in China on everything anyway, why not go directly to the source if he doesn't want to stay?
