What the fvck are you people on about 8th year the charm? Del Piero's form has been good enough to make the NT squad three of the last four seasons with the 03-04 campaign being the one exception. If Capello gives him a fair shot and he finally gets a bit of luck to go his way he very well could be a part of Germany 2006. Not at Cassano's expense but if he has a pretty good year he could be there alongside Antonio. Totti, Cassano, Del Piero, Toni, Gilardino and Vieri or Montella or Lucarelli (depending on form and fitness obviously) would be my six forwards. If DP doesn't play regularly for Juve then put in Esposito or Di Michele.

Del Piero has to be in the squad in Germany, he's the perfect substitute due to his versatility.
