In some earlier times i'd have attacked you for this
That's because i'm completely against players interfering with mang.'s job.

This time i agree with you. Not because i think that Conte should be our coach because DP said that. I agree because it went too far. Our players started talking to the media every day saying who should be signed, who shouldn't be signed, who should be our coach, who shouldn't be our coach.
It means that the managment totally lost the control. The players' job should be to play football and nothing else. But our players are now players, directors and scouts.

Did you ever see a serious team allowing this?

It's not players fault. It's the managment who must be blamed for this. They lost it, they completely lost it.

Even if we still had Moggi or even if this Mang was doing a great job, I see nothing wrong with taking Del Piero's opinion since he's the Captain of this team since years and has been leading this team for so many years.

I'm not saying he should pick the coaches nor take player's opinions concerning this but Del Piero can give an advice or two.

Maldini has been doing the same for Milan, Raul the same for Madrid etc... Players (of course not any players) can be spot on more than a Mang with the experience they hold.

Del Piero: 600 minus one

“The noble 600”, recited an old warm poem by Lord Alfred Tennyson. It spoke of soldiers, of a war and yet it brings to mind the Juventus captain. The noble 600 of Alessandro Del Piero are the 600 appearances which he is about to play with Juventus. The captain is one appearance short of the noble mark.

Making his debut in black and white on the 12th of September 1993 during the championship match at home against Foggia, Pinturicchio, went a long way becoming one of the most important Juventus players ever, becoming the most prolific goal scorer of all time and winning many a title along the way. Now he is just about to place another milestone.

The first goal scored by Del Piero (best Juve goal scorer ever with 260) came one week after his debut in the Serie A on the 19th of September 1993 during the match Juventus-Reggiana which saw the bianconeri win by 1-0 and the captain scored just after having replaced Fabrizio Ravanelli. Since then he never looked back scoring a number of important goals. Who can ever forget his goals in the 1995-96 edition of the Champions League which led to the bianconeri lifting the cup with big ears? Who can ever forget the goal scored in the Intercontinental Cup a few months later?

If Del Piero plays on Sunday against Milan marking his 600th appearance it would be quite a coincidence considering that his 100th appearance in the Serie A was also made against the rossoneri in a match which ended in a 1-1 draw on the 30th of November 1997.

Alex is absolute record holder with regards to appearances and goals scored for Juventus. He is only one record more to break and that is the number of appearances in the Serie A with the Juventus jersey detained by another legend in black and white: Giampiero Boniperti. In order to break this record the captain has 49 matches more to play and considering his evergreen condition and his strong determination this is far from being a difficult objective.

That's the thing with this stupid management, from top to Ranieri all of them lack the real passion and heart for Juve, these are the reasons why Juventus has always been so damn successful previously

anyway, on to happier things - 600! Absolute legend

Just the impression I get, a lot of things could've been done but wasn't, the management assembled has made decisions and caused things that is very uncharacteristic of Juve, which I think shows they do not understand it and would've if they had the heart for Juve. Just a personal opinion tho

Del Piero: 600 minus one

Alessandro Del Piero: captain of the bianconeri, idol of the fans, football champion and one of the most important players in the history of Juventus. The next match played will be his 600th match with the black and white jersey.

Or if Trez or Giovinco had been brought on with him so that Del Piero wasn't a one man attack in the last wee while.

Iaquinta was too tired to really help.

Of course, one could argue that Del Piero was only that motivated because he didn't start, but I'm not convinced that was the case.

He's always motivated against big teams, Milan in particular.
Milan are one of the teams (and there aren't more than 2-3 such teams) who leave him more space and Del Piero always enjoys playing against Milan.
Against Inter for example, i feel that he's extra motivated and he plays only to win, even humiliate them if possible. He gets beaten a lot vs Inter and he's not given space, but his motivation is at 100%.
Against Milan though, he plays well because he enjoys it. He enjoys these matches against Milan.... he enjoys the game.
