Amauri should start as he clearly gave the Milan defenders a lot of headache with his aerial power. It seems strange why Ranieri didn't sub in another attacker near the end and we look like playing for the draw instead. Either the players or manager doesn't care(since CR is leaving?) or they secretly want Milan to win the league this year.

but we were badly lacking a link with the attackers and MF...and Ale completes that link so well...he should have started, there is absolutely no doubt

I think the game plan was to accept that Milan would probably control midfield and play longer balls for Amauri and Iaquinta to lay back, rather than try to play though midfield.

I worked fairly well.

I dunno about that, but I am sure you can justify...but I lost a lot of respect for him tonight...he behaved like a thug, and should have been sent off

Imagine if Giorgio lost it there and started beating the shit out of Milan's legend
It would've been priceless and Giorgio was going to become my all time favorite.

It's really disappointing, because if it had been anyone other than Maldini Chiellini would have gone mental.

Interesting to see that Chielini can control himself when he wants to, though.

del piero was the only one with legs in attack in the last 10 minutes or so.....its clear we need del piero as for now he is the link if there is no del piero giovinco must play as he can act as the link. it wouldve been good to see both and giovinco but hey i guess its clear ranieri has it in for both of them.
