Yeah like your last prediction turned out great.

Last I checked that Messi guy is playing in LMS.
He's finally playing in a league that suits his stature.

I can’t believe ppl celebrate ‘being right’ that we lost and conceded 5 goals, no matter who the manager is Juve comes first and this ain’t helping Juve or Tuz community. It makes it even more toxic ffs
Yeah, seriously. I think people should support the club. Clearly the club wanted to concede 5 goals against City. I don't think anyone would dispute that. The club has done well just to get to where we are today. Losing to Real is in the club's best interest as well. Forza JJ.

Well you ain’t helping for sure. It’s like - ‘Look I was right we conceded 5 goals. I WAS RIGHT WOOOW!’

I don’t get it, it brings nothing. Write what was wrong, debate show what bothers you make an analysis and post them or debate do something not like.

‘ haha look we conceded 5 wee suck ho ho’

it’s toxic just simply toxic makes ppl skip pages or the forum.

Wow great sarcasm, I’m amazed…
I actually agree with the logic behind what you are trying to point out, perhaps way too often we do see many of that kind of posts that lack any substance or arguments and instead just promote dislike and banter, however got to admit though that @Bjerknes ‘s reactionary post to it was quite funny and spot on in this specific case, with the right amount of sarcasm, emphasizing on why the club deserves this kind of banter when making such odd choices with zero regard to their own financial interests, let alone those of the fanbase and their expectations.

Either way none of us should get too preoccupied by it, probably won’t lead to anything worthwhile anyway.

It's not about celebrating being right. But how quickly people turn on a dime. It's kinda ridiculous to watch in real time. Even if its a shameful and disastrous result and performance, so get why it would trigger strong emotional response.

What annoys me more is people who blindly follow their favorite football club and can never admit to when the club does anything wrong.

Doesn't make you any more of a fan.

Comes across as cult like and weird and makes you looked biased and deluded.

That's two different things.

Saying a club can do no wrong because you support them is obviously retarded. So much that I'd be surprised if anyone ever did that.

Following a football club no matter what is not cultish, that's literally what being a fan is. Being a fair weather fan is the opposite, only supporting them when they are doing well.

I think the problem is that some people just like to say things are shit, others not so much. And we all have different views and reasoning. Some people here lunge from one extreme to the next on a game-by-game basis. Up and down like a tart's knickers.

Ultimately no one is holding a gun to your head to sit and watch the team play if you really don't want to do it, there are plenty of other things you can be doing. You can come back and watch again when the team is doing well and playing great football, but accept that you are going to be called a fair weather fan. Not aimed at you or anyone in particular directly, but I'm sure people can figure out what they get out of supporting Juve or a football team, sports club, etc.

All people I know are either watching or reading about it. We could easily earn 20 more millions and sign 2 cb from this money.

It’s always „only copa Italia“ „only Serie A“ „only cl qualification round“ „only cwc friendly“

After the season we had - crashing out to empoli , psv and reaching the cl thanks to a pk to relagated Venezia - there was a chance to atleast make up for it….

Well as I said; there's truth to both. No one I know is watching these shitty games in Belgium.

After the season we had, we could use some decent exposure but that won't happen in a fucking friendly, lol. A lot of fans just aren't realistic in any sense of the word. Even if we had won here, nothing would have changed.

We need new blood and a scorching start to the season. There is no other remedy.

Not sure what your argument is here… ofc nobody is watching the Alwydad vs Mameloni Sundowns or Juve vs AlAin type of games but make no mistake that there were huge audiences for games such as Juve vs Man City last night, and the interest and audiences will only increase from the knockout phase onwards, but then again my point is regarding the prize money and why teams are generally taking it serious.
The games are in the middle of the fucking night in Europe. No one (of the biggest audience) is staying up for them. The money arguement holds but the audience is overrated by a huge margin.

I don't really care about that tournament, but the way he threw that game away by fielding a bullshit starting eleven was simply infuriating. You saw the lineup and you knew what was about to happen.

Winning was our chance to get better draws, so he pissed away money as well.
Saw the line-up, didn't care. That's what preseason is for. He didn't exactly have the chance to rotate when he came in. That time is now. And it's not as if we would've won otherwise with an emergency in defence. That much was obvious. So no it's not all on Tudor at all imo.

As i followed up in a different post i did point out it is normal that the interest and audiences will gradually increase only once the KO stage starts and where we’ll see more balanced and entertaining games featuring two important teams playing eachother instead of featuring only one top team going against the likes of Mameloni Sundowns, AlWydad, Pachuca etc which obviously nobody is eager to watch.

Also, not sure what time zone you are in but aside from the first game vs AlAin, the next one vs AlWydad was played at 19:00(07:00 PM) local time in Romania, then we played Man City at 22:00(10:00 PM) local time here, which is the exact same time that UCL games are usually played at, and next round we’ll play Real Madrid also at that same time 22:00(10:00PM).

Therefore majority of our own games at least are actually being played at regular hours here in Europe.

There are 3 times; one is the CL time and the others are past midnight at CET if I'm not mistaken. Really no one is watching here. There isn't even a normal channel showing them. DAZN shows them 'through their app but that's only for Telenet users here and many people don't even know about it. The intrest is really jack shit and it's totally understandable why.

Yeah, two big names playing still doesn't mean much if no one cares about the trophy. We're in it for the money or we wouldn't even be there... There's basically no other upside to this tournament; it fatigues players who should be resting now. And next year there's the world cup so it will be 3 years of playing without a decent rest for many of them.

Let’s not move goalposts though, as i said, aside from a few exceptions most important games are being played at normal times here, literally same as UCL game time, whereas i also agreed that there wasn’t much hype in the group stages and also that with the defensive line we had it was always an uphill battle… although our recent trashing by Man City was news on almost every channel and website, with many showing highlights included, nevermind the social media banter… and next vs Real Madrid will likely be the same, aside from nearly every juventini and madridistas tuning in there will also be many neutrals, this type of game generates interest even when it’s a friendly let alone an official game… and the further we advance in the KO stages the more games likes this with better exposure, even if some fans are not taking this competition as serious it doesn’t mean that teams themselves don’t care, nor does it mean the fans/neutrals aren’t watching.

I am only going to add this and i’m done on the subject, basically you can’t possibly have anyone believe that if we were to get a win/draw vs City or that if we somehow now manage to knock Madrid out it will be considered just as a summer meaningless friendly game that hardly anyone hears or cares about, not at all in fact, because the monetary gains cumulated with the social media/news coverage and interest that Juventus will generate from going as far as possible in this competition will have us cut short this banter era and get closer to being seen as a relevant top club again, which even with all the prize money already gained so far not the same can be said, nor the same marketing status can be achieved after being the subject of embarrassing loses and silly memes to go along with it.

Del Piero, speaking to FIFA whilst at the Club World Cup, said that:
“[They’ve been] coming off a not-so-great season that they have had. They had the coach change mid-season, something very unusual for Juve.
“Performing this way is good, passing through the group stage is very important. And the way that they did it is very important also – so it feels that there is a new energy on the field and the players are doing great – beside the last game.
“But you know, I was a fan, I was a player, I’m still a fan so I hope and wish the best for my team.”
