It is not news that our fans are racists.
Not only have we become the old Inter, we have also become the new Lazio. :sergio:

Personally, I couldn't love our fans more hearing them chanting Se Saltelli Muore Balotelli. I feel really good when I hear this.
But do you also feel really good, knowing that this is costing the club a lot of money? Money that can not be used to pay salaries, get a new coach, get new players, ...

It doesn't bother me how much we are paying TBH. Because what is happening isn't fair. Too many players in this world are chanted and booed. Balotelli shouldn't be an exception because it happens that he's Black and idiot at the same time.

But do you feel good, when they chant that because he is an asshole, not because he is black...
I feel good because he's 1- Prick, 2- Arrogant, 3- Idiot, 4- Retard.

Let's see how good will you feel when the stadium bans start to increase from one game to two games to one month etc.

We are trying so hard to gather everything bad the other teams had.

Ok, fair enough.

It does bother me to see us playing in empty stadiums (best prepare for it because it's going to happen again). It also bothers me a great deal that we end up losing tons of money.
Almost everyone on this forum wants the club to spend money right now, whether it is signing players or (/and) replacing Ferrara.
Well, guess what, the club is spending money. It's just sad that the money can't be used for something constructive.

Oh, but I know he acts like an asshole, I've known that for many years. I don't need any singing to point that out.

Exactly what I was saying. Flushing money down the toilet is the last thing we need right now.

I know, and that have nothint with racism, and they keep punishing us.

But, is that racism?? We all been at the stadiums and different games, and most of the time you can hear insulting chants towards opposition players, am I right? And now Balotelli is black and everything have to do with racism.

I'm against "negro di merda" thing and everything racist, but "Se saltelli..." is definitly not racist and we shouldn't be punished for that. We could also hear "Se saltelli, muore Lucarelli" (search no youtube), why they didn't punish that chants...

IMO the biggest racist are those who notice everything that could be insulting and immediately connect it with race etc.

I never said the Se saltelli thing was racism, because I don't think it necessarily is (unlike some of the other stuff I've seen our ultras do/sing).

That was not my point either. Everyone knows what the consequences are if the ultras keep singing it (or other rhymes), since we have been warned time & time again.
Some people are ok with those consequences, some people (including myself) are not. Simple as that.

I think I have said it earlier: I do not agree with the punishments that they have dished out or will dish out in the future. Nor, do I agree with the rules of what is or isn't allowed (freedom of speech and all that).
But whether we like it or not: these rules exist. You need to live by them or you end up paying the price.

Again I couldn't care less because it's unfair how they're handling this. They can ban us every game now put us to pay as much as they want, it's not the way to stop our fans from chanting this. The more they do it the more our fans will do it once they return back to the Stadium.

To me, they're the racists and not our fans. They're making a big deal out of it and forcing Magazines, Press, Media to highlight this subject or topic day by day.

I like it how everyone keeps mentioning figures and money as if they're aware of club's budget and as if they're paying from their own pocket.

Whether we are paying money or not, some of you should realize that signing Messi or C. Ronaldo or the likes wont happen. And most likely wake up.

It's not like paying 25,000 for one of the biggest football clubs is going to affect signing someone like Melo a player we paid over 25m.

Obviously not.

But, up until a week ago we had already paid 144.500€ in fines. I assume that this figure has risen in the meantime. If we continue down this path, it's safe to assume that the fines will only get bigger, not smaller.

One game behind closed doors costs us probably about 200.000 - 250.000€, in terms of ticket sales alone. That's not counting the drinks people might buy, no merchandise.
If they decide to close our stadium for one of the big games, loss of ticket sales will be about 500.000€ (due to higher ticket prices). Trust me on those figures, they are reported after every home game.

Before you know it, millions will have been spent.

This is a "fight" you simply can't win. If the Ultras continue this, they will keep punishing us. This could continue for a really long time, but sooner or later, the Ultras will have to "surrender", there's no 2 ways about it.

To me it's not anymore question of money as a fan. It's question of principle, logic and fairness.

Almost all teams in Serie A do chant the Se Saltelli Muore Balotelli chants, why no action has been taken towards them? (though it's wrong because there's nothing wrong in that phrase), why when they chanted towards Lucarelli no bans/fines were taken?

To me, it looks like we're the only victims here. Vieira, Muntari, Ronaldinho, Seedorf, Okaka you name were all booed and chanted before, why no one has taken action? Aren't they black? It's a question of being treated the same way.

If they find nothing wrong in chanting this song to Lucarelli they shouldn't find it wrong in Balotelli and IF they do, then to me THEY ARE Racists. Not us.

They can't ban our fans forever. This is one fact.
They can't stop our fans chanting this very random chant/song. Another fact.
By not setting an example and treating other players and teams the same, things will never be solved. Another fact.

Let the chants continue I say.

We're not going to agree on this, are we :D

One last thing though, a lot of clubs have been punished so far, not only us. Difference being that the other clubs have only received fines, while we risk playing behind closed doors (I assume because of our ultras' perseverance).
Also, it's not only the "se saltelli" that we (& others) are being punished for.

Couple of clubs received fines not more. And they didn't even pay the figure that we paid and still paying. Why also they don't play behind close door?

Probably another way to send more fines is by painting Lucarelli with black paint. This will surely help those fags.

i'm with rab on this, he gets booed for his actions and arrogance not for his colour. with that said ali, jack, and buck futter do have a point when they mention the amount of money being wasted thanks to this. i think the board handled this issue wrong to begin with, why did'nt the board try to explain the real reason behind these chants being strictly meant towards balotelli being the prick that he is and not for his colour?? instead we've seen the board label these chants as racist. i'm only aware of two chants so i might be wrong but both chants are clearly not racist such as:

1- if you jump, balotelli dies
2- dont kid your self, even if u were white ..........

so i think this issue is also a sign of very poor handling abilities of our board.

Balotelli should be fined for the racist chants. It's his fault he receives them, the dumb prick.
