    Balotelli issued driving fine
    Thursday 14 January, 2010
Inter striker Mario Balotelli has been fined €38 for repeatedly honking his horn on Milan's Corso Buenos Aires, according to Il Giorno.

The incident occurred at 1:30am as Balotelli tried to get the attention of his friend who lives in a flat along the street.

Disgruntled neighbours soon called the police and Super Mario had to plead with the attending officers.

“I had to say something to my friend,” Balotelli is quoted as saying. “Are you going to fine him, as well?”

Undeterred by Balotelli's status, Il Giorno reports that, with 'a great deal of distance', the officers wrote the 19-year-old a ticket and told him to go home.

This isn't the first time Balotelli's driving habits have been called into question.

Inter boss Jose Mourinho used him as an example of a new generation of young footballers who think first about buying a Ferrari and playing football second.

The matter is especially close to Mourinho's heart after he lost a player to a road traffic accident while at Porto.

Didn't quite know where to post this, thought this thread was appropriate.

Juventus have already paid 144.500€ in fines this season because of (racist) chants by the supporters.

Since this isn't the first time this shit happened (remember last season) & since the problems with these "fans" have gone from bad to worse, we now risk playing in empty stadiums once again. Currently both the home game against Roma & the home game against Lazio are at risk.

We sure have a bunch of idiotic fans.

Juve curva closed after racist chants

    Friday 15 January, 2010

The League's disciplinary commissioner has decided to close Juventus's curva for one match after a section of the club's fans were heard singing racist chants.

Inter striker Mario Balotelli was once again the subject of the songs during Juventus's 3-0 victory over Napoli in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday night.

The curva sud will be closed on January 23 when Juventus host Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

It's not the first time this season Juventus have got into trouble over a section of their supporters abusing Balotelli.

The club even wrote an open letter to the fans ahead of December's Derby d'Italia after some of them were heard singing, “If you jump, Balotelli dies,” during Juventus's matches against Udinese and Bordeaux.

The Bianconeri were fined for the incident but the measures taken by the League disciplinary commissioner show no sign of being an adequate deterrent.

Balotelli is only 19 years old, a terrible attitude and a lot of baggage. But you know what he is performing. He is delivering the goods. He might be cocky but give me a Balotelli any day instead some unproductive sorry ass. At 19 chances are that he can change his attitude & be even more productive or he will just fizzle out. I'll take those chances everyday.

My Balotelli is only useful when I'm having a prostitute over. Other than that, he's not much of a use and should return back to his underground place.
