Thats right Eaglesnake_1, there is no doubt that he will leave Juve. I most say its great of Juve to set the rules when it comes to wages and so. If you dont accept it then leave!!!

Players like Kaka doesnt come every year. He is special, and will become one of the greatest football players ever. Im not against Cave, i just dont wanna loose Di Vaio or Miccoli because Cave is on his way. And i prefer Gilardino over him.

i would actually take trez over di vaio.i mean dv is much closer to the mould of an ideal striker who would be able to play for the team and participate in buildups, but dv can be plain shit when it comes to scoring sitters.i would rather we have the static trez who still scores much more, somehow.if we're gonna get a good well rounded forward we might as well get the full package.

I think we should put all our transfer money into researching genetical engineering. That way we can have a player who works hard and helps out teammates, who also has deadly finishing.

Or we could just get Giuly :D

Hi everybody! I´ve just read the last posts, and I have only 2 things to tell:

    1) Cavenaghi won´t be sell to Boro. It´s a small team, and the player won´t leave River to go to a team like that. The player is OK here, people and teanmates loves him, and his not going to ruin his career trying to learn the english way of life. He has italian blood and italian passport, and he will go to Italy. But no to Regina or Modena or a team like those. He will choose Juve, Roma, Milan or Inter (but Juve has some advantages, like a pre- arrangement or the Salas matter). If not, he will move to a big Spain team like Barcelona.

Look, guys: this is our last jewel. Argentine young players are cheaper than ever, but we won´t give him away. He has been receiving offers of teams like Boro and Dynamo for the last 2 years. But now he is a better player and he costs more.

So, here the press is talking about one sure thing: before June, River won´t be able to retain Cavenaghi. The offers will be good, the player is out of category at the argentine league and he wanna be at the national team. But remember, he is not desperate to leave River...

    2) About the "loan matter": if the player or his agent knows that he will be loaned to another team, he will choose another team. That´s the truth with players like him. By the way, congratulations for the Kaka´s example. He is a special talent now that he has proven it, but it wasn´t when he arrived to Milan! This is the same, ´cause cavenaghi has the same potential. U must buy the player, training him with the great players u have, prove it, and then, if he doesn´t "adap" to your team, loan him.

But believe me: this kid is in the same category your players are. Here in River we have had a lot of great players, but he is in the same class than Crespo, Aimar, Saviola or D´Alessandro. He is a "pure River blood".

We can talk in an year and u see.

    HUGS to everybody.

i understand it is VERY LIKELY, but dont count him out before it's been made official.
This situation isn't as bad as it seems. He's still getting first team action.

If we get a more creative midfielder in the team, maybe it would be a good idea to keep Trez. But I can't see Trez playing for us next season.

Cavegol...maybe we will have to send a great amount of tapes to Moggi to make him understand what we are talking about ;)

i know a boca fan who beleives that teves is much better than cave.is there any body who knows about teves?how is he?
I've seen them both play, but saying one is better than another isn't too fair.

Cavenaghi is a goal scorer while Tavez is more the creative type (even though he's not a playmaker).

Tavez is excellant and very promising, but then again, so was Riquelme and he didn't exactly astonish Europe. he's doing better now, but it just goes to show that you have to wait for these young players to mature. I'd still wait another year before conisdering him. They could be an instant hit of course, like Kaka, but that's not the norm.
