That guy was the most underrated player in Serbia. He didnt get the chance to play for Partizan or Red Star [although he played for both teams in youth days], he was transfered to Koshice from 3rd serbian league club, Kolubara. He's very good on ball and working a lot on the pitch. He's not Juve material now, but he can in the future.

Melo renews Fiorentina contract

Much in demand Fiorentina midfielder Felipe Melo has put pen to paper on a lucrative contract extension.

The 25-year-old, who played a crucial role in Brazil's Confederations Cup victory, has been linked with Arsenal, Barcelona and Italian champions Inter.

“Fiorentina's director of sport, Pantaleo Corvino, today met with the agent of Viola central midfielder Felipe Melo in Milan,” read a statement on the club's website.

“On this occasion, details of an agreement for the extension of Melo's contract until 2013 with a buyout clause were defined.”

The Italian Press believe the buyout clause specified is worth around £20m.

Melo joined Fiorentina from Almeria last summer.

He made 29 appearances for the Viola in Serie A and was sent off twice.

Hey Guys, If we really want a midfielder, Lorik Can, the Olympique de Marseille Captain :) would be perfect and we can get him cheap since his contracts is expiring soon. He has proven that he is a class :)

he plays more as a DM if a am no mistaken...

he is a good player but not an MC...

i don't disagree. i like marseille and i have seen him play. but he is not an mc and i don't think he can play as a deep playmaker. we need someone that can add some creativity and some nice actions to our game. cana is ver much a poulsen - like player and that's not what we need...
