I've never left the US. Not something I've had the means or timing to do.

I don't know where I would go. If I had an unlimited budget, I'd go everywhere.
You might have traveled further than me though, I've never been outside Europe and not even that far across (Spain being the furthest).

I've lived in a lot of different places, seen different climates, geography, and cultures, even people but I've never been to a different country (though I've seen both Mexico and Canada from the US).

To be honest, I'd love to travel the world but unless I join the military, do something like Peace Corps or hit the lotto that's probably not going to happen.

How is it crazy? Leaving the country is expensive for Americans. Geographically speaking the US has everything the rest of the world does.
It's crazy because it just give me a whole new take on things. I was mind blown when I first learned this from some friends I have in Fort Meyers some years ago.

You're right but I should have said for someone like me. I'm from Bermuda, born and raised, although i have lived in Canada(Halifax, NS) and England(Newcastle). For me living on a 21 sq. mile island it's unheard of not to ever leave the country, you know, it's just too small.

But you are right, America is fuckin' huge and does have some different, beautiful places that most people would probably never get to see. My uncle who lives in Vancouver, BC, RV's around America for like 2-3months every year.

But like I said for someone like me it's just crazy, but then again I have never lived there. Although I am jealous you guys can just road-trip it pretty much anywhere. Visited some friends who were in school in Orlando a while back and we road-tripped it down to Tampa, then to Miami and down in the Keys. It was sweet too. I'd definitely do it again.
