No, dubbing and reader are two different things: reader is one person reading the text and in the background there is original language.
Dubbing is: actors give their voices in Polish eg, and original voices are deleted at all, and replaced by Polish voices.

Obviously it's not done live, duh Effect is the same though - foreign language on the background, two languages through one another ... yuck!

It's executed well sometimes, due in large part to the fact that the original language is drowned out completely (very annoying while i was in Korea, I can understand Korean, but when I'm watching English programs, I'd much prefer to be able to just listen to the guy talk )

I like it for example in the Champions League Magazine show...

As an American, I have to say that I am very impressed with all of your language skills. English is a very difficult language to learn, and you seem to have grasped it fairly well.

Myself, I used to know Italian fairly fluently, but now it's almost embarassing the amount of vocabulary I've lost over the years.

I am trying to pick it up again, however.
