Wow,angry water at 600 kilometers an hour, good luck to hawaii.

Let's hope there is not much damage, and then be prepared for all the hurricanes and cyclones this earthquake triggers.
An Earthquake wouldn't trigger a cyclone. There was a study last year about how strong tropical cyclones over the course of the hurricane season triggered the Haiti quake by deforestation and erosion. Nothing is known about a single earthquake triggering atmospheric phenomena like cyclones, although magnetic shifts could cause changes in atmospheric conditions.

US market futures have really recovered this morning, only down slightly now.

Reports coming in that the first Tsunami "waves" have reached the Hawaiian islands.

A 6-foot Tsunami doesn't sound too frightening, but that's a 6-foot wall of water, not a regular wave.

Last year there was that one Tsunami warning that hit Hawaii and as I recall it was 3-feet high, yet there was still some beach erosion.
