I watched the sassuolo game from the stadium. I was really close to the curva. The instant he set foot on the field, the whole curva started booing him. I really felt sorry for him. He is not that great a player, but he didn't do anything to deserve that. After the game we waited a bit outside of the stadium for the players, He was the only player that stopped his car and opened the window for the supporters to take pictures with him and make autographs, he seems like a really nice person also.

Nope. He'll disappear against an opponent of quality.

ITS ONE FUCKEN GAME!
Relax maddy. It was the best CDM performance, and yes, the opponent was shitty the fuck.

He has a good performance, no, its not guaranteed he'll do it against big teams (altho, bayern..), but its nice to know for at least serie a we are completely covered that we can leave pjanic at LCM

He's a very humble down to earth kinda guy and in no way deserves the treatment he's been getting. Hopefully this will change with his new performance.

Juventus midfielder Hernanes isn’t worried by criticism - “to be honest, I’d have whistled my performances”.
The Brazilian was largely poor in his first season in Turin, but was defended by Coach Massimiliano Allegri this week.
The 31-year-old returned to the side for the 4-0 win over Cagliari last night, and completed more passes than anyone on the pitch.

“We knew we had to take three points because we were playing at home,” Hernanes acknowledged in an interview with Premium Sport.
“The Coach asked us to react, to close all the spaces and move the ball forward quickly. The expectations on us are high, we can’t get it wrong.
“The whistles? If I was a fan, to be honest I’d have whistled my performances.”

These are the players personality wise that we need to keep around. Players like Cuadrado or Hernanes have strong character, and play for the badge. Guys like Pogba are individualistic and have the wrong mentality. Players with strong mentality are like 1) I want to win the league, 2) I want to win the Champions League. Players like Pogba are more concerned about individual achievements.

Since November, Hernanes was good. You can say that perhaps stats aren't completely accurate, but even if they are half accurate, it definitely doesn't warrant his treatment as our worst midfielder.

Whoscored shows similar numbers, where in the 2nd half of our year, he contributed to our success...

Well, he's done quite well against Bayern and City, how many other "better oppositions" did he play? :boh:

He's the best regista backup we have imo, Lemina is good too, but kinda wasted as DM and better suited for the RCM role.

The amount of unfair criticism he get's :sergio:
He's been pretty decent whenever he had to play, some fuck ups here and there, but nowhere near as bad as people are making him out to be. if you guys wanna worry/bitch about one of our CM's - it better be Asa.
