Heres my rant. This really annoyed me today.

I went to the shop before going to MrsMacs. In like shopping area they have these security guys that just walk around from shop to shop for security obviously. Anyways there was a woman in the shop with a kid in a pram, the security quard guy started making stupid faces at the baby (i was in the que at this time waiting). The security guy looked at the and realised she didnt she him, so he did it again, still she didnt see him doing it. So he waited until he was watching and then did it, she saw him, he smiled at the woman and woman smiled back. (I was about to be sick at this point). What is the point of doing such stupid things? The woman was old and ugly the guy couldnt have fancied her. So i guess he just did it to appear as such a nice guy. What a ****ing asshole. Im sorry this is so dumb but it just annoyed me much.

And the story doesnt end here, as if i wasnt already pissed of enough. I paid, the dumbass behind the till made a mess up and had to do the ****ing thing about 5 times before she got it right.

FINALLY, annoyed and ready to leave, i start to walk to the exit. The same woman has joined the que behind me, but decides the park the dam pram sideways blocking of my exit. I wait for a second for her to move it. She just stands there, i say 'excuse me can i get past' she noticed me but was to bloody lazy to move the fuc*ing thing. So i said "fuc*sake are you deaf" (I wouldnt normally do it such a thing, but i was so pisse d off). I have to turn around and go out of the shop a different longer way. The power happy idiot security quy sees me going out and gives me the eyes.

And that was it, i got the hell out before i had a nervous breakdown. Anyways rant over.
Hahahahaha Brilliant stuff :D

Ok i have a new rant. Even worse than the last.

I went out tonight and i was having a good night. Then this girl came up to me and started talking, ive been on a no girl thing lately so i tried to get rid of her in a polite way. I did but then she came back and she had bought me a drink :wallbang:. So i was talking to her for a while, actually i couldnt get rid of her but she was a nice girl so it wasnt so bad. About 20 minutes later some asshole comes over to me and starts getting at me about talking up his 'girlfriend' which she kept saying wasnt true and tried to get him to leave. In an awkward situation as you can image i walked away (i have to stop getting in fights, and i didnt have a single fight in liverpool :strong:. So the guy followed me, great. The girl too. He starts talking crap again so i tell him to **** off, he realises from my accent that im from NI and starts calling me and 'irish bastard' etc, i didnt particulary like that so i pushed him out of my way (i had intended to push him out of the way and walk past and away) but when i pushed him he tripped over on of those low tables and fell. So a bouncer (security guy whatever) kicks me out for fighting, he then kicks him out aswell and the girl follows.
Outside the guy really wants to fight with me, i walked away because he had a few friends aswell and i woulda got beat up :D. So i was walking in the opposite direction and all was good. THEN he gives up on me and starts shouting at the girl, she starts shouting back at him and they really start to argue. Then he punches her (and i dont just mean a punch this was a real hard punch) she falls to the ground right away and he starts kicking her around. What could i do, i had to go back. So i went back pulled him away, he took a swing at me and missed so i pushed him back again. He swings again and hits me on the side of the head. So it had to fight back, no choice. I punched him (actually just once) and he was bleeding around the nose or mouth and kinda dizzy, so i grabbed the girl and we run off. I got her a taxi and went home.

What a ****ing night  and now all i have is bruise on my head

rant over.

Josh, that's a very deep psychological question there. It could have to do with the girl being abused physically in her childhood by someone she loved dear or with a severe inferiority complex. There are multiple explanations.

    www.dictionary.com:

    Stockholm syndrome
    n.

A phenomenon in which a hostage begins to identify with and grow sympathetic to his or her captor.

[After Stockholm, where a hostage in a 1973 bank robbery became romantically attached to one of her captors.]

    What is "Stockholm Syndrome"?
    Josh
    New Jersey

    Dear Josh:
Stockholm Syndrome describes the behavior of kidnap victims who, over time, become sympathetic to their captors. The name derives from a 1973 hostage incident in Stockholm, Sweden. At the end of six days of captivity in a bank, several kidnap victims actually resisted rescue attempts, and afterwards refused to testify against their captors.

While some people are suggesting the recent Elizabeth Smart kidnapping sounds like a case of Stockholm Syndrome, the most famous incident in the U.S. involved the kidnapped heiress Patty Hearst. Captured by a radical political group known as the Symbionese Liberation Army in 1974, Ms. Hearst eventually became an accomplice of the group, taking on an assumed name and assisting them in several bank robberies. After her re-capture, she denounced the group and her involvement.

What causes Stockholm Syndrome? Captives begin to identify with their captors initially as a defensive mechanism, out of fear of violence. Small acts of kindness by the captor are magnified, since finding perspective in a hostage situation is by definition impossible. Rescue attempts are also seen as a threat, since it's likely the captive would be injured during such attempts.

It's important to note that these symptoms occur under tremendous emotional and often physical duress. The behavior is considered a common survival strategy for victims of interpersonal abuse, and has been observed in battered spouses, abused children, prisoners of war, and concentration camp survivors.
