Doesnt happen often. And nobody tends to make the mistake twice.

In my new gym, it only happened twice this year.

First time, someone took a 25kg plate of a 220kg loaded squat bar. On the opposite side was someone doing seated calf presses. If my spotter didnt see that and i had unracked with power (wich you should on that weight. i would have fell over, and the guy would have gotten 100kg of plates on his body+the bar+myself.

Guy who did it was new. Didnt see there was a towel, belt and two wristwraps on the bar and took the weight. It took him 30 minutes to confess it to someone cause apparently he was scared.

Second time it happened, was a newer guy. Visually disliked me for a reason i dont know. Had it before the "body and fit dudebro's" dislike a powerlifter. This one had been giving ugly looks for a while and i ignored it. (spoiled 16y/o wanna be fancyboy i tought). Then when i got a new plate, he took one of my bench.

I had him leave the gym. He didnt came back since.
Haha, smooth. I hate the looks people give in the gym. There's some weedy polish guy that comes in with his fat girlfriend and he just glares at me the whole time, fucked up.

Yeah, hot girls are the best motivation.

That's pretty impressive tho
Pretty much. Altho if they push it to far you can dislocate a shoulder

He probably feels insecure towards you, thinking you'd steal his pig or something :D

Your thought process is quite interesting... I bet everyone that sees you are jelly of you, yea definitely they be jelly.
There is an amount of body and fit brah's and even bodybuilders, who think powerlifters are "egolifters" and we just want to push a big weight to feel us better then others.
When going onto various forums, this same thought returns quite alot.

I'm currently doing the highest (by quite alot) squat and deadlift in my gym, and am 4th best benchpresser.
THere are plenty of meatheads going in that are annoyed by beeing seriously outlifted by someone. And like ford described, they give them looks all the time.

I find them strange. I allways look up to someone who lifts more then me with proper form.

For example, we got a huge american guy, Ali, who weights around 170kg. Can benchpress 205kg. Is usually doing series of reps with 170kg.

The body and fit brah's and most of the bodybuilders give him the looks, cause "he's very fat" and "short arms".
I dont care. He's a nice guy and he helped me improve my bench technique. I dont care that he's fat.

Nope :) I'm quite satisfied. Been a long grind from 100 - 115 kg.

Just need to get my left groin sorted out and I'll be jumping into a semi serious powerlifting programme.

P/P/l is fun and I love the routine and results. But aesthetics isn't my primary goal nor motivator.
Would you mind to write your routine? I'm in desperate search for a new routine even though my current works pretty good, but It's getting boring and I haven't lift anything since last Saturday :D
