Oh thats normal, means you went pretty deep. Will lessen when increasing muscle adaptation and stamina.


For example in my first week of smolov squat i had that very much, while in the third week, i didnt have it nearly as much whilst doing 15kg higher weights on each of the 136 reps(over26sets)

Good to know man, cheers for that. It was actually just one quick splurt and that was it.

Whats the deal with getting a tattoo and how long to wait before going back to the gym does anyone know?

Getting a half sleeve tomorrow and just worried any workout involving the arm might be detrimental

@Zach - I have never done squatting fearing I'd injure myself in the past. But now I have to decided to include it in my routine. My question is with which exercises should I add the squatting with? Or it doesn't even matter since it works out most of the body?

You can mix it pretty much with anything, but i wouldnt recommand it whilst also doing heavy back excercises.


You can do the squats on themselves, or couple them with other leg excercises in a leg day
Example : squat, leg press, leg curl, leg extention, calf raise.



There is only 1 rule. Whatever you do, squats are always the first excercise.

I was told not to do Leg Presses if i was doing Squats as they were the same motion but because i couldn;t do squats on my leg day last week I used the leg press machine and was doing 5 reps of 85 kgs, whereas i currently Squat 60 kgs so i'm thinking I should include leg presses too, does that sound right?

(I currently do body weight lunges and squats to warm up, then 6 X 5 60kgs squats, calf extensions, hamstring curls, quad curls, glute extensions and then some hamstring stretches to cool down.)
