Today for the first time I had bench press and dips included in my training. :toast:

I did lift 50kg for a couple of times, I did handle it, but Vlatko was right and it was hard because I don't know the technique. It felt weird and harder because of that.

So I went to to 40 and did 7 sets of 10  Just because it was first time.
Asshole, I said that too :p

And how are you doing dips? I mean how come they are related to a bench press?

Aye, but I did it for the first time today. 6 sets of 10...It felt good. Then I moved to some sit ups. After that I played table tennis for 2 hours and now I feel like somebody has raped me.
Oh, so you know that feeling after all :D

Like I said, I can do with 50 but I wanna get used to the barbell. Three or four more times I'll do 4 sets of 13 just to get there. Then I'll move to 50 and stay there for a long time.

Where the heck did you fit the bench? You threw out the bed? :p

Good stuff, Dule, the weight will go up quickly, untill you reach a plateau.

HIIT today, 10x 500 meters with one minute rest in between.
I'd die while doing that.

Are you doing some long distance runs nowadays Jack?

Nah, my dad had some garage (medium sized one, not really small) but it took time to fix everything in there. Now I use it for workouts and plus to play ping pong. :D

I have bench press, I can do dips there and I'm getting bars soon. Should be good, I'm starting hard core today.

On the 25th of September is my new crazy day, I will run a 30 km race on a hilly terrain :scared:

I was looking at the race profile and at 25km there comes an uphill with 80 m elevation spread on 400 m

That looks too hard. But for me any cardio looks too hard. Uphill kills legs, that's for sure.

I eat 3-4 times a day with lunch being a killer. I'd feel retarded if I was eating every 2-3h, 5-6 times a day.

I can eat a lot but that's not a problem. It's just that I'm not used to eating every 2 or 3 hours. I hate doing something like that on time.

Not to mention that it's impossible to do so when I'm at uni. Luckily I have a break with lectures till October so I can focus more.

Yeah I know what you mean. And not just that...but 5-6 different means? I eat a lot, who the fuck is going to pay for that?

I was...and probably still am considering to add protein powder but dunno really. 30e a month, is it? I don't like it...but even with that I'd have to eat much more. If I only add protein I'd be on a norm so there wouldn't be any benefit.

theres no better time or opportunity to concentrate on that than when you re in school, after the first week it just becomes part of your routine

I know what you mean, it's pretty difficult to plan all those meals and than you have to prepare them and also pay for them.

But like Deneb said it's a routine, I somehow managed to come near to those 5-6 meals a day. Since I stopped training for about a month I've lost my routine and almost forgot all the great ideas i've had about my meal plan :(

Now I'm planning something like this breakfast with musli and peanut butter, than later banana and protein shake (if I buy it), after that comes lunch, than there is some light pre-workout meal, after workout I take protein shake and banana, and after that I have dinner (tuna and low fat cheese).

I know what you mean but my lectures are way too long when they start. There's only fast food and that sort of thing around my uni. So it's not just to eat but I have to pick what to eat.

I see. Well, it's much easier if you use protein shakes, that's like 60g of protein every day, it's easier to balance it.

If I get some money I'll probably give it a try, some hard core food and stuff :D

I just had this for lunch and PWM.

Screw BB food. :p
:D

It's easier when you're working out just to get bigger (and defined) without having to focus on abs. Much, much easier.

If you're planning to get a 6 pack there's no way you'll do it with that food. You know how they say: if it tastes good, spit it out :D

It has some truth in it as you have to avoid every kind of crap in it, from sugar, fat to carbs and fiber.
