Ahoy!...
Well some months ago i posted i entered the gym and was doing boxing!. Well i have come to report the progress so far.
After 2 months in boxing, i was able to get from 215 pounds, to 200. Yes i tend to go out on weekends a lot and i eat a lot too. My height is 1.80. I need to clarify that i lost those 15 lbs in the 3 first week and then i didnt lose anymore till the 2 months. I acompained the box with some cardio and rope jumping.
After the 2 months, a friend of mine which did weights in the past joined me in the gym so i decided to change box from weights to receive his help since my sis told me i was getting a little skinny and needed some muscles.
The wights change was arounf 4 months ago. My friend didnt like to do cardio (he never needed that because he is the kind of guy who has the ideal body for muscle building, i mean the kind of people who are well distributed and has an accelerated metabolism)..... but i forced him to accompany me on my cardio runs since i tend to gain weight and also i lose weight very fast when doing exercise.
IN this 3 months or so, i have worked extensively with weights and the changes are notorious. One thing have caught my attention tho... Im now in the 194 pounds, but since im doing abs and i do a lot of running.... my body seems much fitter than when i ended the 2 months of boxing. My arms and shoulders have been tonified and myc hest has grown also.... at the same time since i have been doing some abs exercises , i have been able to burn some stomach fat which always bugegd me... so in general i have seen the changes....
At the beggining, my friend , even when he looked mucvh more fitter than me, really sucked ass in running because he was getting tired very fast. But now, with 3 months of constant running, we are able to do some fast paced laps before and after weights.
I feel in good condition, i think the best of my life. But i have noticed that even when i look fitter and stronger... im not able to lose more weight, even when im running much more than when i was in box.
My friend tells me that it it because i have gained muscular mass and that will make u weight more, but im not sure about that. I think it must be because i really have lost a lot of fat.
My first goal is to get to 190 pounds and then i wanna stay at 185.
like 3 years ago i was able to get from 205 pounds to 178 in a lapse of 3 months, but by that time i did crazy cardioa nd i changed my daily eating habits to the extreme..... and i dont want to do it again... so ill go with normal cardio and weights this time.
For the ones that wonder about my diet... well now im not doing any. I just try to not eat too much junk food and food in general, but i drink a lot of water. I also take my beers and junks on weekend from time to time.
The idea was to be fit by december... and well i think im getting there. I still have 3 motnhs to continue improving. I usually go to the gym 4 or 5 days a week,.
